- i think he’d like video games like postal and project zomboid 100%

- gets annoyed when people in his party start describing things by color, there’s a moment where they collectively turn their heads to see him stamping his foot and shaking his head

- he woulf like soda. mt dew thé favorite

- he remembers things from his past after something happens to him that triggers a memory, from whatever trauma to “oh that person looks familiar”

for tym

-since they’re such an experienced hunter i feel like they know a thing or two ab camoflauge. im picturing a scene where they turn into a rock like peeta from hunger games

- can roast a MEAN marshmallow. i’m talking golden brown

- they get embarrassed when people have to read for them 

- does not read any LITERAL warning signs. for example if they’re about to walk into a cave full of man heating spiders and there’s a sign that says “don’t enter! danger ahead!” they’d look at it, shrug and dart in

Okay first of all i love the setting and aesthetics of the story and all the characters lol

- All of Shelbys makeup is since long expired, one drugstore eyeshadow pallets with 2 shades almost completely used up while the rest sits untouched, a mascara that's going to give her an eye infection any day now and some old crust concealer she can't bother to replace. Despite all this her looks do come out looking really good. 

- She alse used to have a small emo/goth phase which still do haunt her to this day, it has left an imprint on both her taste in music, fashion and demeanor. 

- Shelby holds a lot of grudges, anyone who's wronged her is immediately put on a mental list. She won't forgive but she might forget if it was a long time ago, leading to her disliking people she no longer remembers what they did to her. Although as she progresses she will have to learn how to forgive people, and be forgiven. 

- Shebly has played soccer for as long as she can remember, perhaps she had an older sibling who taught her as a child

- Colleen is very determined and exellent at getting her way, although at the slightest sign people are going against her or doubting her she can get very loud and agressive, often ruining the image she had built of her self to anyone who sees her like this. 

- Colleen drinks a lot of tea whenever she's not out and about, she prefers black tea but sometimes chai or roiboos too

- Whenever Sadiyah gets flusered or angry she turns VERY red, and very quickly, sometimes she tries to excuse it as sunburn or her being to hot/cold but people never belive that.

- Nimra has a really large fear of "missing out" she will alway be in the background of everything trying to participate

Decided to do agent since I really like his energy! (I don't usually write headcannons so I hope these are good)

• While he might not remember his past maybe he was a big fan of old Hollywood action movies and that was the first thing that made him want to be an exterminator
• He decided to only go for black clothes that he can recognize because one time he was dressed way too colorful for anyone and people kept looking at him which was unsettling
• He doesn't have a 'main' place to stay, but has some studio apartments all over the city and in each and everyone of them he has a special drawer with different kinds of sunglasses
• He can fall asleep in any place at anytime if he so desires
• He might not say it but he does enjoy the respect he gets from civilians for being what he is
• Maybe he has some nightmares about what happened in the past that lead to his memory loss, but in an ironic twist of fate he always forgets what he is dreaming, he just knows it wasn't pleasing by the feeling of it
• People think he has only one dress that he constantly washes and wears when he feels like it. In actuality he has multiple dresses, only the same kind of design. Don't be mistaken, they are slightly different, but that is noticeable only if you pay really close attention
• He has multiple stickers with memes that he just carries with himself and sticks all over around the city when he feels like it
• I also feel like he wouldn't like to take buses but enjoy subway rides

Since he's a traveller he doesn't really live in one city but if he did he probably would, the game mostly takes place between cities as most of them aren't that large. And the exterminator part is more of a "oh you're broke, desperate and have no-one who will miss you? become an exterminator and you'll get free housing and as many guns and explosives your heart desires(as long as you do your job)". That last part is actually a really useful game mechanic lol, i don't have to pay for stuff. 

And the only subway system in game is both alive and thoroughly haunted, it was actually there he woke up without memories, so he's not very fond of the place (plus it lowkey tried to eat him once) 

The sleeping one is so so true though

VAS

• A lot of customers have tried flirting with them to get a pack of cigarettes for free, their response is the most monotone voice ever and a stare that could probably kill a man.
• Their hair is unnaturaly shiny and sometimes sparkles a little if you look at it for too long, Vas however has no hair-care routine whatsoever, just the cheapest shampoo they can find and occationally conditioner 
• Vas doesn't smile a lot but when they do it comes off as uncannily wide and sometimes their teeth look just a little sharper than one would consider normal.
• Once someone put up one of those joking theft prevention signs saying "Shoplifters will be fed to the nightshift personnel" despite it being a joke about how the place is a little strange Vas felt incredibly targeted and did their best to dispose of it before anyone noticed. 
• Sometimes when having gone back to his human form again the mole on his chin will have swapped sides, Vas just hopes this isn't too noticable, and worst case scenario some concealer always fixes the problem.
• Looking into his eyes for too long can cause one to become dizzy
• They are ambidexterous, and doesn't really get why that's special, neither do they care.
• A catperson, finds they easier to deal with than people and calmer than dogs, there are a few strays hanging around the gasstation which they will check in on during some of their breaks, sometimes feeding them some leftovers or gasstation food. They related to the strays for a reason they can't really figure out. 
• With their prediction abilities they are really good at sensing if todays shift is gonna have annoying customers, this gives them the chance to prepare themselves mentally.

 I love Vas so much, the concept the design the backstory chefs kiss

(Warning: some might be sorta crack hcs nn stuff that randomly comes to my half-functioning brain. Anyways I have high preference for fellas in this folder, but if they're not up your alley then any of my other characters are free reign)

TANZANITE COOKIE

• The reason he has learned sewing and tailoring is due to the lack of clothing that actually fit him. Having a tail when trying to style outfits does risk getting in the way with normal clothes, and everything also needs to withstand waterdamage. 
• He found out short hair was way easier to maintain once he cut it, it really felt like a grand realisation (me too bro me too)
• Likes swimming close to the surface so he can still feel the sun
• Sometimes hangs chains around his horns as a sort of jewlery 
• Claims to be a silver person but everyone thinks he looks better in gold

• His default expression comes of as very threatening, he's not aware of that though
• Always wanted to play football as a child but due to being quite sick and fragile they never got the chance to join

• Collects postcards from all over the world though penpals and merchants occasionally, has a whole wall filled to the brim with places he'd like to visit one day.
• He also uses these postcard as inspiration for the novel along with the stories he get told by mail
• Enjoys drinking tea and sitting in the sun during the afternoons.
• Due to the amount of time he's spent playing the violin he can immediately tell how something is supposed to sound just by looking at the sheetmusic.

due to his superior taste he’s pretty picky with food in general and prefers to stick to mostly the same options if he can (though it’s probably hard due to being in a post-apocalyptic setting/little access to food)

actually a little bit fond of the (very rude) sentient map. i feel like he would enjoy the chaos just a bit even if he might pretend not to, or even pretend to be oblivious to it just for the fun of it

he probably sort of plays up his incompetence so that the rest of his party doesn’t pay so much attention to him, but that times he’s probably been a bit too “dramatic” with it. i imagine he’s probably had to glue the frames of his glasses back together or the lenses back in a bunch of times due to acting a bit too clumsy

and tym just bc

they really like collecting weapons. knives, guns, hard to carry a lot obviously but if they find something cool they’ll keep it and they seem to have a decent amount of knowledge 

despite mostly being frustrated with robby. sometimes they’ll peer over at his work and secretly wish that they were able to read it. or that someone was able to teach them, but they also feel like there probably isn’t much of a point

idk if this is a hc or more of a thought but it seems like maybe they spent a lot of their childhood alone/unable to express emotions freely and it would be awesome for them to at some point trust one of the other characters enough to be honest with their emotions (when it isn’t just anger/aggression yk)

i really don’t have a lot of characters who are super filled out as far as lore because I am so bad with actually finishing profiles so I’ll try to give a bunch of options!! sharkey, ranger (who doesn’t have much info rn), cassian, aris orr basically anyone else who has enough info feel free to do hcs for whoever you want!

i havent been reading through all these other hcs so apologies if anything's been repeated 🙏

robby: there's ALWAYS convenient shit in his pockets. including stuff that you'd question how it even all fits in there. i also think he'd carry his own silverware since most of the time forks n spoons taste way too metallic to him. i mean in the post apocalypse youd probably not wanna use most silverware but even if you offer him some clean ones he's refusing

officer: i took one look at them and thought they'd be the type to own the sweetest pitbull named destroyer or sumn and the meanest one named cupcake like all those memes. dog person

agent: hasn't just forgotten his past, but also has some trouble remembering recent events. doing the same thing or being around the same people help solidify memories; so he knows the party and really good at hunting (muscle memory also plays a part) but if you ask him what he had for lunch an hour ago hes just "uh um good question". also because he's so used to routine its the reason why he noticed something was up with robby when he started to sneak off

bisporus: some of the caps or stems of the mushrooms on them are bioluminescent. because bioluminescent mushrooms are cool. glowing mushrooms are the least common kinds to glow on them though, just a couple so if you pluck them off it doesn't bother bi but they will just grow back

Sorry this took a while had a busy weekend

CASSIAN

• Cassian is a sucker for a good view, he will climb almost anything "just to see what it looks like from above", he wants others to see it too but always manages to forget his camera on the ground. He also attempted to teach Jack climbing but that didn't end well for either of them, Cassian doesn't really have a method for climbing so teaching it is not easy. 
• He's always covered in bruises, and always has  been for as long as he can remember. At this point his family and Jack are used to carrying around bandaids in case Cassians adventures don't ends so well. 
• Before his death Cassian would joke a lot about having heartburn and how they "felt like they were gonna have a heartattack anytime". Failing to realise this was only funny to him and everyone else was actually really worried. However since after he almost died he never mentioned it like that again. 

ARIS

• Aris is a bit fan of night-time graffiti, it started out as just for fun and the adrenaline kick but now they've genuinely become quite good at the art. They're quite known in the local area but no one knows who they are.
• Used to have a shoplifting problem but almost got caught with expensive merchandise and decided it wasn't worth getting arrested for anymore. The things they used to steal wasn't really for their own benefit and they would mostly gift the loot to friends. 
• Aris used to really struggle with their identity, both gender and sexuality, always trying to find the correct box to put themselves in. Their entire childhood was tainted by this need to be something specific until one morning when they decided "you know what fuck it, why bother"

CADE

• Cade usually takes a little while to process things, in the meantime they will just print out a very long string of "uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". Their shapes also get all squiggled up if processing for too long. They're very confused by their current situation as they weren't really programmed to be able to change or adapt. 

NEOMI

• Neomi's style is something she picked up on earth. She's had access to mySpace and thinks it has something to do with space due to the name. It's also from there she's developed most of her style. She also used to think/still thinks humans are able to grow those colours and patterns naturally and therefor thinks she is "blending in"

TRITON

• Triton is very affected by how polluted earth is, especially the waters, he has vauge memories of rich aquatic ecosystems and sometimes long back for them. But the memories seem fractured. 

PAERIS

• Whenever Paeris attempts to shapeshift his form will flicker/slightly morph only to immediately go back to their normal form. This is incredibly painful and he hates it due to having been forced to do it so many times by the scientists at the facility. Sometimes doing it will even cause memories damaged by cryostasis to resurface because of how strongly he connects it to the facility. Overall, not an enjoyable experience.

-it is very tall, like at least 8ft. But its usually crawling around so it’s like, lets say about 3-4ft tall usally

-i feel like it speaks (if it can) in whispers. Its voice is all quiet but it also sounds like multiple voices are speaking at once.

-it can turn its head 360 degrees owl style.

for åra:

-Åra has a hard time taking things seriously. She’s constantly always trying to be all fun and silly!

-She has tons of plans/idea for pranks that she writes down in a journal or notebook. (she only actually dose a small handful of her ideas)

(question about her: how did she die?)

for tym:

-during arguments tym wont even let the other person speak, yelling over them whenever they try to reason with them.

-when upset they will go out and just start shooting whatever they see. Don’t matter if its as harmless as a little bird, it gonna die.

-will say “i don’t care.” then go on a rant about how much they care.
