Here, with the help of the of you, the Toyhou.se users, I plan to alphabetically organize most, if not all, of the Original Open Species in the adoptables community. My intention is to not only give the creators more exposure, but
to provide a detailed list of fun, creative, and affordable alternatives for those who aren't able to afford, or simply don't wish to purchase, closed species themselves. Enjoy your stay!
RULES
o1: Respect the rules, regulations, and expectations of the individual artists/creators who are listed here. Ultimately, what they say goes.
o2: Additionally, the Open Species HQ will not be held responsible for users who, intentionally or accidentally, break individual artist/creator rules.
o3: If any artist/creator below wishes to no longer have their species listed, please note @PRICKPOCKET and I will have them removed ASAP.
o4: The Open Species HQ does not condone, and will not accept, submissions that are blatant copy-cats of popular, "name brand" species.
o5: Before submitting a species that does not belong to you, please note the artist/creator and ask if they're comfortable with their species being listed here.
o6: This forum is not one for discussion. If you have questions about this forum or a specific species, note @PRICKPOCKET or the creator respectively. But the Open Species HQ appreciates your bumps!
o7: Because this forum is not one for discussion, there is to be no belitting, harssing, fighting, etc other users. If anyone has any issue with the conent of this forum or a user commenting below, note @PRICKPOCKET and I will sort it out.
o8: Optional, but preferable: inform me if any links are broken or any users have deactivated. I will try to be on top of everything, but I'm only one person.
o9: The Open Species HQ relies on a 3-Strike rule. 1: A warning via PM. 2: A one week suspension. 3: Permanent ban.
The Open Species HQ reserves the right to add more rules as I see fit.
THE OFFICIAL GUIDE
When making a submission, include the following: A link to the artist/creator's dA/FA/Toyhou.se/etc, a link to the species reference sheet/information journal/etc, and a link to the species' base (optional).
A = ANTHRO
F = FERAL
FOR THE SPECIES WITHOUT AVAILABLE BASES, I RECOMMEND EXPLORING DEVIANTART'S VAST COLLECTION OF FREE TO USE BASES!
