Prose writing commissions [closed]

• $15 per 1,000 words.
• I will happily write OC fic (as long as you give me lots of info on your characters) or fanfic for things that I’m familiar with. Your best bets are to ask me for Diabolik Lovers, Touken Ranbu, Hunter x Hunter, Gintama, or Osomatsu-san fanfic.
• For $20 per 1,000 words, I’ll write smut, be it straight or gay or whatever. However I will not write any smut about furries/animals and I may be unable to write certain kinks. (I’m totally okay with violence, gore, S&M and whatnot, but……some of the more extreme things………….) If you’re not sure if I’m familiar with a fandom or not, just ask!
• My upper limit is 3,000 words per piece of writing. You may, of course, commission as many pieces as you like, but they can’t be any longer than 3,000 words each.

Preferred POV/tense: ie: first person present tense, third person past tense, etc.
Details: What do you want to be the fic about? What do you want to be included or excluded? Give me a prompt, keyword, quote, or situation. If you’re wanting to commission me for an OC fic, tell me about your OCs, particularly about their speech and behavioral patterns so I portray them accurately.
Word count: I do round so if you ask for a 3,000-word fic for example, it may end up being 2,800 words or 3,200. I try to stay within 200 words of the specified word count. Kind of hard to get an exact number of words unless I pad and I don’t like doing that because it compromises the integrity of the work. D:
Private/Public: If you specify that this is a private commission, I will only send the fic to you and won’t post it anywhere. If public, I will post it on my Tumblr but link to you as the commissioner. Private commissions will be subject to an extra $5 fee.
Deadline: If you have a deadline for when it needs to be done, let me know. I will charge an extra $10 fee if you need it in less than 48 hours, but otherwise there’s no charge for a deadline. (in fact I generally work better when there is one)

Poetry commissions [open]

• $5 for a 4-line poem OR for a haiku.
• $8 for an 8-line poem.
• $10 for an 8-line poem that also tells a story about the character.
• $12 for a 10-line poem, story or themed.
• Couples are okay and there’s no extra charge for poems about couples! I’ll only write about 3 characters in 10-line poems, however, as I don’t think I could fit them as well into an 8-line poem. More than 3 characters and we’ll have to negotiate something with more lines that’ll cost more.
• Commissioned poems will follow a rhyming scheme (typically ABAB for 4-line, ABABCDCD for 8-line) and will be in a loose iambic pentameter.
• I’ll do one edit to your poem free of charge after it’s done. After that, each edit whether large or small will cost $1.

Just let me know information about your character(s), and/or give me a prompt/theme for the poem (for regular poems) or a situation (for story poems). I work better with less strict prompts, but I’d like to know as much about your character(s) as I can so that the poem suits them. Please let me know if you’d like for your poem to be kept private! Private poetry commissions are subject to a $2 fee.

Character writing [open]

Sometimes you have an idea for an OC but have trouble putting your ideas into words! For $10 per 1,000 words, I will write up an original character description for you. I can expand on your own ideas by going off a list of personality traits or a bullet point list of facts on their personality/history that you provide.

I reserve the right to refuse to take a commission if I don’t feel I am up to it or am uncomfortable with the subject matter for whatever reason.

You will have to send me payment via PayPal before I start your commission. Exceptions may be made if I know you personally or you have shown yourself to be a reliable commissioner in the past. If it’s been more than a month since I’ve taken your commission, you can ask for a refund/cancellation and I will do it with no questions asked. Poetry and character writing commissions have a shorter turnaround time, so if it’s been more than 10 days, you can request a refund for those. I try to finish commissions as quickly as I can, but I don’t like to compromise on quality and sometimes circumstances can make me take longer to finish something. Because of this, I have a pretty liberal refund policy. You can see my current work list here.

I do not mind what you do with the commissions you get from me as long as you are not profiting off of them or claiming that you wrote/translated what I did. Credit/attribution to me is optional, but very much appreciated.
