Profile
[ Salvador is an example of what an unhealthy obsession can lead to. Sal, a man engrossed into religion to painfully large amounts, has devoted his life towards selling himself to whomever and whatever he finds himself believing in, and as well as pleasing his followers. ]
[ Sal has rough, taupe-colored skin with dark chestnut hair, styled to be long and shaggy and the front that gradually gets more snippy and shorter the closer his hair gets to his nape. He holds a very raddled appearance, and he does not care to improve it. His physical frame is slightly muscular towards his top half, but gradually gets more soft and slightly distended as it reaches his lower abdomen. His eyes are a warm, dark brown with heavy bags underneath each, laced over with dark circles. He doesn't have much time to shave his face, so he (almost) always has light chin stubble or whiskers on his upper lip. He has poor dental hygiene, and lips that almost always appear pursed. He's missing his right lateral incisor and chipped off a piece of his left lateral incisor - the missing tooth is due to a street brawl and the chipped tooth is from being slammed into a metal railing, face first. His body is marked with tattoos, which consist of the numbers 20:9 on his left shoulder (a reference to chapter 20 of verse 9 in the Torah's third book), a cross moline on his right shoulder, a satanist cross - aka a St. Peter's cross - on his tricep, the Wheel of Dharma on the left side of his neck, and the numbers 15:18 on his right collarbone (a reference to chapter 15 of verse 18 in the Holy Bible) ]
[ His sense of fashion is practically non-existant. He wears whatever will fit him and will be durable for a good while - no matter how unattractive or haggard. He loves sporting tattoos and frequntly gets them whenever he can rope in enough money to treat himself to new ones. He also likes wearing religious pendants around his neck which is usually accompanied by a secondary chain. ]
[ Sal is very, very, very introverted - he is not much of a talker. He likes to keep to himself, and he finds this to work out just fine. He's very skeptical and pessimistic, especially when it comes to new, foreign things. He's always asking questions and tries his best to outsmart others, always under the idea that winning an arguement is a better outcome than reaching the truth. He's very apathetic, practical, and quite adaptable to his surroundings. ]

[ From birth, Salvador was destined to the life of the working class rank. His father was the breadwinner of his family of three, providing for himself, Sal, and his wife. Sal's mother was very religious, often projecting in her Catholic beliefs onto Sal, which filled his head with many stories and rules that intruiged him to great levels. When Sal was ten, his twin brothers were born and Sal's father passed away a few months later their birth. Sal and his mother both had to take on full-time jobs. The two worked hard to meet the mark that Sal's father had set money-wise, and were almost always successful inFor years they still continued to afford their appartment, but not as lavishly as they would have liked to. Sal would ask and ask if the same beliefs his mother trained him into believing could ever apply to them - his mother would always say yes, though after a while, she stopped answering him. When Sal was 13, he adventured out into the city at night and found himself lost a dark alleyway. This is where he found Cultus Perfide, a two-in-one gang/omnistic cult that used money, people, roadkill, stolen goods, and food as offerings to the gods that the members worshipped. Sal was frightened by all that he was being exposed to so quickly, and even with this fear in him, he allowed some of the friendliest members of the cult share some of their customs and individual cultures with him inside, encouraging the boy to join their gang of religious anarchy. Distracted by the wealth these religious bandits were bagging in this group, Sal agreed to join them. Now by day, he would work as a busboy at his job, be home just in time to have dinner with his family and get tucked to bed, then sneak out to work on collecting offerings and sacrifices to his gods by night. He was brought into many different fields of religion - rule after rule, verse after verse, prayer after prayer. This was a confusing time for him, because now he truly didn't know what he believed in now thast he was exposed to texts and scriptures and mountains of history about numerous beliefs. He chose to simply stop himself from being choked by the confusion and believe it all, becoming an omnist. ]
[ Sal's early adulthood is still being written, TBA ]
- Sal's overall character was inspired by Christophe (Ze Mole) from South Park, Murdoc Niccals from Gorillaz, and Larry Johnson from Sally Face
- Sal's hairstyle is based off of a hairstyle I saw at my first job - long on the sides, snippy in the back
- Sal knows a decent amount of Spanish from his parents, but he is not fluent - no matter how far he will argue with you that he is a fluent speaker
The two met under strange circumstances, which Sal finds to be more ironic than anything relating to the concept of fate. He likes to talk about the Buddhist side of his many religions he follows since Twitch is a Buddhist herself. It's obvious the two like each other, though neither will admit it - even after Sal proposed and everything! (it's almost as if they think marriage is a platonic thing...)
Sal found Adder when the boy ran away from home and at first, wanted to torture Adder for even daring to be in his presence, but later decided to take him into his crew. From age 15 to his current age, Adder was raised into learning about shoplifting, weapons, driving motor bikes, and much more. Sal always planned to locate Adder's family and return him to where he belongs, but he grew attached and settled on just keeping him
