It is unknown as to why Raphael Burkagazi turned out the way he did. As a child, his eye for detail, aesthetic and beauty was unparallel, he was quenched by a thirst to create his one true vision of perfection. No canvas in his eye was a blank slate, but a simple broken slab in need of fixing, and the only way a canvas can be fixed, is by the hand of a truely talented artist playing god with his paints.

Sculpter's blade
Raph has an incredibly steady hand, due to years and years of training, he is able to carve and mould his artwork with ease, rarely making a mistake or ruining his canvas.
Artist's eye
In most cases, Raph can see how he wants his art to look before he's started it. He knows exactly what he needs to do to make an otherwise broken canvas something beautiful.

Flaws
Easily Aggravated
Though Raph's personality tends to come across rather easy going and calm, it's vastly moulded by how his art is going at the current time. He isnt affected by people, rather his own inspiration. A lack of inspiration peaves him, causing him to lash out or be violent, though he rarely causes a scene large enough to be considered a social disturbance.

Personality
First and foremost, Raph is a closed off man. He doesnt like to draw attention to himself, knowing well his appearance is enough of an eyecatcher to allow his personality to explode into public outbursts. He comes across are calming and gentle, neither shy nor anxious, an air of high class politeness to the way he moves and talks, which juxtaposes his aesthetic almost entirely. He has soft eyes that ares warm and thoughful, almost as if he can burn his gaze straight through your skull, his imagination runs wild with every sense, feeling and experiance he lives through.
Though Raph's surface is thick, It's hard to crack through to his internal ideations. He is first and foremost apathetic, uncaring of those around him as long as they arent around to interfer with him or his art; if they are then the apathy turns to curious, almost phychopathic type of obsession and violence, a need to keep himself safe without causing eyes to turn to him. In this headspace, and only this headspace does Raph become violent and irrational, those who get in the way of his art become his art.
To friends, although a rare occurance, Raph sees himself a mentor. He doesnt surround himself with many people, though those who he does, he does so with a curiousity for their mind. Typically these types of people are artists too with imaginations that explode into impactful art which allows Raphael to analyse and experiance their emotions through their visual stimulus.

Stiles, Raph's baby brother. They never kept in touch, for rather obvious childhood reasons, yet Raph still admires Stiles's work. It doesnt quite exceed Raph's expectations, but it definitely portrays Stiles's forever lack of maturity.
What a brilliant mind... A brain Raph would be honoured to delve into, Max is a fascinating specimin, his ability to hide in his mind when invited to collaborate in Raph's work fascinates him.
Marshal is a worthless and pitiful specimin in Raph's eye. The man has desires and life goals that Raph sees as pathetic and low. Marshal, however, is incredibly ruthless, powerful and unkind, and the threads Raph has on him are strong enough to keep him around.
Beowulf is something strange and beautiful. Out of all Raphael's proxy, he is his most favorite.
Another of those that Raph has a hand in puppeteering. Joseph, however, is hard to control, he is unpredictable and a recluse. Although he does his fair share of work to fufil his part of their bargin, Raph does not get much else out of him.
