Personality:
Spica is relatively stoic and little spoken, even long before the mutations that altered his face and chest would make speaking difficult. That said, post-changes, his decreased ability to emote can make him appear 'done with everyone's bs' or 'super smug' despite his feelings being anything but.
Though a little distant, those that he bonds with are those that Spica become loyal to. He's very kind towards them, and will do anything to ensure that they're ok. That said, Spica has a habit of foregoing his own safety for the sake of others.
Background:
A traveler hailing from a land afar, Spica always was curious about the lands beyond home. (Hi bean, these are spoilers)
But, year after year, he remained in the town he had called home, unable to venture far. It was not without good reason, however -- after all, it would be foolish to question the haunting tales of the terrors that lurked beyond his home.
...that said, Spica was known to be a bit foolish at times.
His curiosity outmatching his fear, he would leave town one fabled day, carefully looking out for the beasts told through story. But as he got further and further out from town, and found no monsters...Spica wondered how truthful that tale was. Bringing this truth back to the town, he would soon come to find that the real monster was the person who had spread the tale -- who cast Spica out from the town altogether to preserve their 'story'.
Lost and alone, Spica ventures aimlessly, wondering where to go next. If the town won't take him back, where is he to go? Was there anywhere to go to? So many questions plagued his mind.
Questions that something would give him an answer for. Something he wasn't sure what it was, but after so much time spent alone, the company was welcomed with open arms. That something asked what he wanted, what he needed. And though there was so many things that he could ask for, Spica knew to think it over first.
But in the end, he gave that something three answers: that he wanted a name, a purpose...
...and for someone to complete that purpose with.
Other Info:
- Spica is selectively mute, and often allows his companions to speak for him. He'll sometimes sign or write when he finds himself alone, or wishes to state his own opinions to others.
- When calling on elements, he draws shapes in the air with a finger, usually in the shape of triangles and diamonds.
- Spica's preferred Jobs include the Emitter and Absorbent [though him Grappling would be quite hilarious]
