Matilda

A gentle soul with a warm heart. A talented cook and baker, Matilda spends most of her time at home where she cooks delicious foods for people to enjoy. Her home doubles as a bakery, with the bottom floor open to the public and the second her private quarters. Anyone and everyone is welcome at her bakery: it doesn't matter to her if you're treat or stygian. She doesn't take kindly to troublemakers though, and you may find yourself forcefully removed from her dream if you cause problems. Her bakery is supposed to be a quiet place of relaxation, and hooliganery isn't taken kindly.

Matilda is a very calm and collected individual, who is deeply patient and respectful. She does, however, struggle with complacency, and has an aura of sadness around her that she doesn't seem to be able to shake. She doesn't like to talk about herself, but those who are close to her will know that the treat she keeps around her shop was formerly her wife, Stella Rosetta (or Rosa for short) who hasn't yet recovered from the effects of the Treatling war. She misses her dearly, and desperately awaits the day when she'll return to her old self.

Matilda is deaf, and communicates mostly through sign or by writing on a dry erase whiteboard she always keeps on hand.
