SPECIES

  • Normal Humans
  • Humans w/ unnatural features
  • Anthros (any creatures or combination of creatures)
  • Typical fantasy or horror species (ie: vampires, werewolves, orcs, dwarves)
  • One-off species (example: standalone alien I could expand into a whole in-universe species)
  • Neopets
  • Dragons (but may not have a use for them)
  • Furry-style ferals (could be made anthro)
  • Monsters/creature designs
  • Mechs/Robots (verging on dislike)
  • Closed species/probably just species by people I don't know personally, in general
  • Ferals that are just animals (ie: Warrior cats)
  • Living items/item heads (costumes/alt. forms okay)
  • Catgirls/catboys/animal eared humans in species (sorry to my friends who had to find out this way)
  • Any species from existing media (ie: MLP horses, movie aliens, MMO species)

PHYSICAL TRAITS

  • Body horror
  • Tattoos/piercings/body mods
  • Scars/exposed flesh or bones (designs that skew towards gore okay, but I probably won't have a use for them unless it makes sense functionally)
  • Butch characters/masc women
  • Older women/characters that could easily be read as WLW/NBLW
  • All other forms of gender presentation or lack thereof
  • Cybernetics or prostheses, any era
  • Large fursuit-style paws for hands, fursuit-leaning designs in general
  • Scene queen hair (sort of? if it very clearly comes off as the character's style, then it's cool, but I don't really like it as a standalone)
  • Exaggerated/shrink-wrapped looking muscles
  • Hourglass figures with giant chests and waists smaller than heads (I prefer realistic proportions, even if the style isn't directly human proportions. Large chests in general are fine, but not if they come off as purely objectified.)

FASHION

  • Alternative fashion (ie: punk, emo, goth, scene)
  • Post-apocalyptic/scavenged gear
  • Victorian era, especially gothic lit. inspired
  • 1960s-1990s in general
  • Pirate
  • Any era or type of armor
  • Modern fashion in general
  • Wild West
  • No established aesthetic
  • Catgirls/catboys/animal eared humans in aesthetic
  • Y2K
  • Lolita fashion or anything especially frilly
  • Exclusively promiscuous looks (any gender)
  • Vaporwave and synthwave
  • School uniforms

PALETTES

  • Reds, blacks/grays, and metallic tones
  • Dark colors in general
  • Realistic or "natural" animal colors/patterns for anthros
  • Strong, consistent palettes
  • Earthy palettes
  • White and gold/yellow
  • Neon-on-black
  • Neon-on-white
  • Neon-on-neon
  • Pastels (but not a dealbreaker)
  • Pink (but not a dealbreaker)
  • Lavender
  • Light orange

THEMES

  • Horror
  • Post-apocalyptic
  • Gothic literature inspired
  • Sci-fi/dystopia
  • Normal/modern designs
  • Anything dark or creepy
  • Evil women/characters that could easily be read as WLW/NBLW
  • Fantasy
  • Superpowered characters
  • Glitch aesthetic
  • Kids, generally any characters 13 or under
  • Stereotypical multi-winged/eyed angels (please don't get me started on angel hierarchy. that one Tumblr post somebody made with ophanim misinformation ruined my life)

MISC

  • Designs/fashion that seem functional (realistic, or fantastical but following an internal logic)
  • Unique/custom weaponry
  • Pre-named characters
  • In general I prefer characters I can make WLW/NBLW to male characters, but I'll look at anything
  • Adoptables which have unique features that break lineart/use the same base but have varying features
  • Designs with pre-established genders/sexualities (unless there's further character traits with them/I'm permitted to change it, if I want)
  • Adoptables which are only recolored bases
  • Pure symmetry tool art
  • Indistinct faces (ie: styles with little variation in head shape, that lack noses, etc.)
  • Reference sheets with naked Barbie/Ken doll-type drawings (This doesn't mean I'd prefer anatomically accurate ones, just that I'd prefer a reference with clothes or underwear of some sort, as opposed to featureless humanoid bodies which look strange to me. References which are less humanoid in nature might be okay, but also aren't particularly what I'm interested in.)
  • Anime art styles
  • Overtly NSFW or overly suggestive art/styles
  • Fandom characters in general
