My OC for Tailchaser's Song. Only known by her first name to her close family and friends, Redshadow hails from the swampland where her less-than-flattering handle is derived. Nevertheless, the name was once her grandmother's, so she puts up with it in a limited capacity.

She never knew her father, so both she and her mother, Freja, have always resided with Grandmother Flaa and her two irresponsible uncles, Hakon and Geir. The close-knit family survive as best as they can in the hostile swamplands, for it is their ancestral home. The younger Redshadow, however, longs to see more than the endless, depressing bog of her home.

She is also my main OC for the Warrior Cats universe, where she is also simply known as Redshadow. Her backstory is also similar: she is a warrior in a clan known as FenClan, which is named after her grandmother and leader, Fenstar. Her grandmother wishes for her to remain in the Clan and continue its legacy but Redshadow longs for something more.
