Past

They were raised mostly by their older sister, Mango Shortcake , because when they were 6 and their sister was 16, their parents abandoned them. At first she found it very hard to take care of herself and her younger sibling at such a young age, but Chocolate could take care of themself. They learned from Mango pretty quickly how to do house chores, cook simple meals, do laundry and such. This allowed Mango to get a job without worrying about Souffie. Everyday, Choco, after coming home from school, experimented with baking while their sister was not home, they wanted to surprise her with something nice after a hard day of studying and working. They enjoyed baking a lot, they found it very fun and easy. It became their little hobby and later on - their job. Mango was very proud of her little sibling for being so independent and talented. She occasionally spoiled them with a little something to compensate them for not being able to spend much time with them. But Chocolate didn't care about how much time she spend with them, they were just happy that she didn't abandon him, like their parents did. Later on they attended a bakery school to further improve their baking skill, so they can become a baker in the future.

Present

They graduated with perfect grades and after that they found a job at a bakery pretty quickly. They also found out that it once belonged to their grandfather. Still lives with Mango, due to not feeling so comfortable living alone.
