Taiga, also Known as Makoto Takanashi is an Obelisk Blue student enrolled at Duel Academy. He replaces Ryo Marufuji in the years after his departure as Duel Academy's top duelist. He is also the primary antagonist of the Final Arc, known under the name of Aleste (アレスタ) until his identity is revealed.
