Profile
Shō is a ball-jointed doll - or he's pretty sure he still is, anyway. Shō abruptly gains sentience while his human Mickie is out of town, but instead of being allowed to wait patiently for them to return, he's stolen away only a day later by portal-hopping criminals. His kidnappers sell him to the highest bidder and he's recruited onto a team of gladiators who fight together for their "collector."
Trapped in the extra-dimensional coliseum, Shō joins a haphazard crew of other Earthly objects and toys that have also found themselves suddenly alive over the years. They're all quite amicable and immediately warm up to Shō, showing him the ropes and how to fight together, but they initially scoff at his desperate desire to escape. Shō refuses to listen, he has to get home: Mickie will be heartbroken. He is determined to prove the others wrong; that making it home to Mickie is worth the toil it'll take to get out of here because they love him.
Slowly but surely and story after story, the other objects start to believe in Shō's dedication - they're all things that have never seen personal affection, and vicariously experiencing Shō's own adoration for his owner fills them with hope and desire to get him back home, together.
Shō is a softspoken, shy little guy but is surprisingly resolute, if maybe a little nervous. This is his first time being alive and he's not really sure how to deal with it, but as time goes on he gains more confidence. He can come across as very naive and strongly believes everyone and everything deserves good things and love.

> he does have pupils! they are white and kinda fade into the rest of the eye though
> his joint "peanuts" are yellow instead of blue
> most of his piercings are symmetric, save for the little cross dangle
> his tail pokes over his shorts, which kinda hides under his sweater - his clothes don't have a hole for it

Shō is very sweet and excitable, but can be shy when he's uncertain about a situation. That said, he's a little spitfire and it's hard to get him down for too long.
