Kaine is ex-military, going AWOL when he discovered the crooked nature of the mission. He was brutally maimed by his former unit for his actions, the damage done to him permanently putting his hearing and vocal chords out of commission. Refusing to let that get to him, he remains a loud and proud force of nature running a black market courier business out of an old arcade.

Kaine may opt to take the lazy way out (and who's to blame him with what he's gone through?), but he can be quick to action when he needs to be and will protect those he cares about with a ferocity that could rival 100 men.
