Alvancano is rather self centered, yet he only seems to be that way to hide his crippling self-doubt and self-loathing. He does his best to convince everyone and himself that he is important and he has value! However his forced self-centered nature makes him arrogant, finding it hard to accept criticism and help. He is calculating, although he tends not to listen to himself. Alvancano is also a real coward and will try to weasel out of the situation if you but even raise your voice at him, this makes him tad a bit uncomfortable in crowds or armed people.
Yeah? Well he thinks he's pretty cool sometimes.

Features & Traits
As an action you can restore 1d20 + proficiency bonus hit points by targeting a Undead creature you control. The number on the dice is taken away from the Undead a creatures hit point total. If the roll excedes the maximum hit points of the Undead creature it is destroyed and you gain the max number of hit points of the creature instead of the number rolled on the dice. Your proficiency is added to the healing but is not taken away from the Undead creature.
You have a faithful and loyal companion that takes the shape of a skeleton wolf, raven, mastiff or panther. It uses the normal stats and attacks. They also gain immunity to poison and exhaustion. The companion also does not need to eat or drink and does not require air. You may spend 1 hour of concentration to summon the companion if it has died. Every time you level up the companion's hit points go up by 1d8(1d4 for raven) + constituation modifier. You can communicate physically with the companion.
Once per turn when you kill one or more creatures with a spell of first level or higher you regain hit points equal to twice the level of the spell or 3 times it's level if the spell belongs to the necromancy school of magic. You cannot use this ability on constructs or Undead.
You gain the ability to cast 'revivify' using a first level spell slot. The spell does the same effect as it usually would. Also, you do not need to spend any gold pieces in order to cast it.

It was a spring evening when Alvancano was born, his parents were a Dark Elf father and a High Elf mother. They were a warrior and a healer before they retired and settling on their third child. Alvancano was close with his eldest sister Aeviid and his mother, they taught him the magic of spell casting when he got a bit older while his father taught him how to handle swords and actually fight with them. When he wasn't being taught his sister liked to dress him up in dresses, do his hair and such things.
When he was taught to read he didn't want to do anything else, given he didn't have that much friends either. He could spend days over several books, much to the hatred of his father. He was settled on training a warrior son instead of a mage but Alvancano objected with
each action, being very difficult during training and physically rejecting it. The elven boy was much more interested in learning about magic, loving every moment that he spent learning it. But the more he learned from practice the more he got interested in what else he could do with the magic. He grew a fascination for anatomy and how the human body worked, showing an almost uncanny interest in books that are related to the subject. That is until the accident. A little girl went missing, she was supposedly close to Alvancano, who in turn started to spend too much time away from his home. A rumor started to go around, that he had killed her, cut her open just to see her guts. His parents denied the claims as much as they could before they found them. Their son was covered in blood and the corpse of the little girl lied on a stone table. Her body was carved with runes, those used by necromancers. The at the time Eight teen year old High elf was exiled without much of a trial. He could not be allowed to walk between the people at the risk of their lives. He was hunted down, being forced to go into hiding just to preserve his own life. He fell into an emotional hole, bordering a depression. The young elf grew to hate himself more and more over the years, with the result that his emotions started to flourish in a negative manner, creating an entity different from himself. Raek was born...
The young high elf was all alone, kicked out of his own home and the community he had lived in his entire life. Being forced to wander around endlessly for as long as he lived, never to be accepted by his kin as one of their own again.
Alvancano had wandered trough the woods for a few weeks now, barely managing to get his hands on any food. He was hungry and tired of himself, being alone with himself, he longed for some real company and not just the voices in his head. Although the voices started to sound less like his own thoughts and more like those of someone else. Something else, even. Although one thing did bring some light into the darkness that had clutched it's self around him. A little coven with people that were also not accepted by society. Having nowhere else to turn he decided to try his luck with joining these people, and they seemed more then happy to have him. A little too happy.... As it turns out, Alvancano had stumbled into a vampire coven and was now used as an easy blood source. He of course wasn't the only one who the vampires fed on but he was decently taken care off by one of the younger members of the coven. Her race was never spoken off other than that she was ''one of them''.
The high elf had spent about five years with the coven, allowing the vampires to feed on him in return for books and food. After this time though, he started to feel tired, ill, even. A decreasing apatite following shortly after. The coven suddenly wanted nothing to do with him, avoiding the high elf as much as they physically could during the incubation period. The last thing Alvancano could remember was drifting into a peaceful, eternal slumber.
Years go by, with the fledgeling Vampire learning about the basics of being a child of the night.
//Continues anything before this point later//
How Alvancano had survived for such a long time in hibernation is a mystery to even himself. However this deep and long slumber has not been kind to him. In fact it left him severely weakened and as stiff as a corpse, a strain of Rigor Mortis had taken it's toll onto his old bones. He also fairly quickly learned that what little abilities he once had, were forgotten and lost to time. Although those abilities were the least of his concerns at the time being. Almost as if he had no control over his own body, it ventured outside, having a strong craving for one thing, and one thing alone, Blood. Had someone been around to keep him fed? He was certain that the monster that inhabited his head was unable to take control of his body when it was placed in hibernation. Or did he underestimate the sheer willpower Raek had?
