- Lyre can play a bunch of different instruments and seems to have a talent for learning them. Suprisingly, though, he doesn't actually have that good of a singing voice.
- He sometimes plays strategy and board games with Vista but he almost never stands a chance. He suspects that anytime he ends up winning it's because Vista went easy on him.
- He has a BIG sweet tooth and absolutely adores desserts. They don't exist under water, of course, so he eats them rarely.
- Watching the auroras and seeing the stars at night is a past time of his and Vista.
Lyre is a very friendly individual who greatly enjoys helping others. He's someone who appears very soft and wears his heart on his sleeve, but his life hasn't been an easy one and he also has a capable side that allows him to make tough decisions when he must. He's often described as having a very charming smile and warm aura that draw people to him, though he's suprisingly introverted. Lyre is very curious about things he doesn't understand and has, admittedly, gotten himself into trouble before after pursuing his curiosity a little too far.
Lyre believes that, in order to help and protect people, someone should be both mentally and physically strong. Unfortunately, though he tries, he also believes himself to be lacking in the physical category. He's much better at magic, but he still regularly spars with Vista in the hope that, someday, he might be able to get a little bit stronger. Vista often tells him he's fine as he is, but Lyre struggles to reconcile with what he sees as a fault.

Lyre and Vista have been friends since they were very young and insperable just as long. Vista was often the one who protected and defended Lyre since he was a bit of a fragile child, but thanks to their growing up together Lyre was able to become much stronger and more capable.
