" [Crocodile Icefish] can be found in the South ocean, Antarctic zone. Also known as ‘white-blooded fish’ that’s what makes this species special. Their diet consists of smaller fishes and krills. They thrive in very cold areas due to the fact that they won’t have a blood clot like other fish. The lack of hemoglobin in their blood cells make it void of red color and make their body transparent. However their blood ability to contain oxygen is way less than their red-blooded bredrin, but that is not the issue since cold water contains more oxygen and they can also absorb oxygen through their skin. Scientists set the theory that their white-blooded evolution is supposed to be a defect one but they got lucky that they appear to be near the oxygen-rich water with less predators. "
