The demon is incredibly old, and is said to be a few smaller demons that fused into one. The demon has been a part of El for many centuries now. They used to alter Els forme less, but they grew stronger while living amongst El, creating this larger version of their forme! Though the smaller version can still exist, if they chose to present themselves that way or if El is physically ill or weak.
