Dell Ironblood

5th level Erinyes Paladin (Oath of the Gun)

Dell was born in a nest of devils that was targeted by the Iron Order; a group of purge-happy paladins known for their relatively advanced technology. Before Dell herself could be purged, the leader of the raid was given a divine message by the god Tyr to spare her. The message was somewhat misinterpreted not as a "hey this baby is innocent don't kill her" and more a "prove your zeal to me by undertaking an impossible task: raising this devil as a paladin"

And so, Dell was raised under incredibly strict guidance. As many paladins loved Dell as a family member as those that didn't trust her for being a devil. I'd go into more about how she was raised but I need to keep SOME things secret from my co-players.

The long and short of it is now Dell is off on her own, away from the order, and she's a zealous lawful good paladin who is pretty sheltered and doesn't stand for even the slightest amoral deed; she doesn't even like swearing (she slips up from time to time!)

Since the start of her adventure, she's managed to stop a mysterious drow known as the Spider from terrorizing Phandelver... by shooting his daughter and lassoing her into a mystic forge that then exploded. Also she had her gay awakening and her first date.

Recently, she had a Drama involving the party's wizard, her vampire brother, and whether or not undead and fiends are inherently evil. She's lost faith in her ability to be Good and has temporarily left the party, and lost her paladin powers.

• She's got a long tongue with gnarly barbs on its underside.
• She's primarily a carnivore. She won't eat fruit or vegetables and gets sick if she eats too much starch. She's fine with spices, and she does prefer cooked meat over raw meat. She's actually a pretty good cook if you don't mind excessive meat and bones in your food!
• She speaks in a southern accent and says stuff like "y'all" and "tarnation"
• The Iron Order has a roughly even mix of humans and dwarves. Dell speaks dwarvish and common, but does not speak infernal.
• Dell's name is Dwarvish for Treasure, specifically with connotations of being grand and final, like a dragon's loot hoard, or a grand gem at the bottom of the deepest mine
• Surprisingly busty underneath her armor, but doesn't wear boobplate because what do you take her for, a fucking animal?
• She's very femme, and also prefers femmes. Her combat gear does not reflect this fact.
• She's 6'1", taller than most of the members of her order, but a little on the short side for an Erinyes. She's a little self conscious about how tall she is, honestly.
• Her stripes glow when she's angry
• No belly button or reproductive parts. She was born from a mixture of her parents blood in water plus a magical ritual.
