W.I.P

Solstice is serious. She goes through with her goals with the straightforward stubbornness of a soldier. She is a well-oiled machine, in every sense of the word. She's fairly deadpan. She’s usually strictly self-serving, grasping for any amount of control in her life and as a result being a little selfish, but she’ll help you out only if you give her something in return. She enjoys the thrill of battle a little too much, and also enjoys chainsaws.

| Backstory |

Solstice is a former war machine, awoken an untold number of years into the future where humanity has died out entirely and their machines inhabit all of Earth. Striking up a deal with the kingpin of the scrappers in order to not become scrap herself, she became a bounty hunter of robots defecting from the current order, destroying them and exchanging their parts for credits.

Solstice was made as a war robot back when humans weren't extinct. Sapient robots were being manufactured at the time, and that included her. But she was shut down and stored away in a bunker during nuclear war, during which the humans killed most of each other and the rest slowly died off due to ruining their planet. Hundreds of years turned to thousands, which turned to millions, and as most old robots of the human age broke down, new robots were manufactured. Humans turned into godlike figures for the machines, immortalized as their creators. New cities rose from the ashes of the old ones.
And of course, it was nowhere near utopian.
As work became prioritized over all else to expand their society and invent new technology, resources were stretched thin, and more greedy robots rose to positions of power, prices stooped higher and higher. It became so bad that there was a fee for their destruction if they wanted to die. Anyone who resisted and didn’t engage with the overworking, underpaying society, were labelled as outlaws and the nonconformists could be legally hunted for money by robots who wanted extra credits in their banks in exchange for their scrap metal. Professionals at this became known as bounty hunters.

Solstice was rebooted in the middle of this mess.

Sought out by scrappers, she instinctually fought them off, before she was defeated and dragged away easily due to being 50% rust. After having multiple parts of her removed to make her less deadly, she’s met with the kingpin of the scrapping business, or rather a hologram of her. Solstice was threatened with becoming scrap metal to be remade into something new unless she goes into her service, and Solstice, not wanting to die, begrudgingly accepts her offer. As she was a machine meant for combat, she was cleaned up and sent out to be a bounty hunter, hunting outlaws for scrap.

| Features |

-She is primarily soft robotics, her hard metal outside acting as her armor. If you were to take it off, she’d have a more fragile, mildly functional body beneath.

-She has a built-in camera in her face, recording and saving all footage.

-Her left hand is extendable and functions as a grappling hook. It is primarily used for extra mobility, but Solstice is skilled at slapping people with it.

-Her right hand can be switched out with a gun in a matter of seconds. It's a slight hassle to reload, but it's worth the badassery. If she wants, she can also replace the gun with a number of different weapons.

-She has tightly concealed storage areas in her “hips” with bullets, self-repair equipment, and more inside. It also functions as a sort of armor.

-Her legs are designed to withstand long falls. She can fall quite the distance without a scratch. However, this does somewhat compromise the structural integrity of her lower half.

-Her “boots” can switch up parts. There are retractable wheels, miniature jet engines, and long-fall absorption systems. She essentially owns the sickest pair of heelies the world has ever seen
