Story
An ancient dragon who exists in folktales and the howling of winter winds. His reputation stems from his birth - his grandmother, a member of the royal bloodline, had eggs with a Nightwing. They were outcasted from the palace and lived in hiding on the frigid wastes of the Icewing kingdom. Two generations later, and Niflheim was born under a full moon, granting the hybrid a taste of Animus power. Raised in hatred of the royal bloodline, Niflheim set out to wreak havoc on the palace. He used his power to enhance his body and extend his life, becoming a monster before the eyes of his family. For decades he terrorized the dragons in the Icewing palace, but was ultimately defeated. He fled to the mountains and vanished in the wind.
Since then, the legends of Niflheim only grew. Some claimed he was imprisoned or killed, others believed he was still alive. Parents told their dragonets to not wander too far into the cold, for Niflheim lurked in the cold and dark. Brave, stupid Icewings who tried to find him turned up empty-clawed, or never returned home.
Niflheim still lives. Centuries of solitude have made him weary, but his heart continues to beat with suppressed rage.
