Roxie is a tattoo artist and body piercer who can read the mind of anyone she tattoos. She doesn't know that this comes with an exchange: anyone she tattoos learns a random memory of hers (with no limits to what it could be). She likes being able to read minds: she mostly uses her gift to be extra nice about people's insecurities, make flawless plans, and be amazingly social... though she'd be lying if she said she didn't use it to manipulate people sometimes. Roxie is a good person but it's hard to not take advantage of her abilities, and she often doesn't realise she's being manipulative until she looks back on the interaction. 

She started training as a tattoo artist/piercer when she was seventeen, which was when she started her gender transition. If she wasn't a tattoo artist and piercer, she'd probably be a surgeon specialising in gender affirming procedures, but that's even more responsibility, and too much student debt. Roxie loves her job a lot and thinks that body modding is something everyone should at least consider because of how personal and freeing it can be. She thinks that body mods and transition fall under the same umbrella of being true to yourself. 

Roxie has always been an artist, ever since she was little. The style of tattoos she specialises in is neo-classical, but she's good at others as well. She loves using bright colours, and working with subjects that are "cute". 

When she was a teen, she had pretty bad depression and social anxiety, but got over it with meds, therapy, and transition. She still gets nervous around new people, but doesn't show it outwardly. She has a huge tattoo on her back, which is of a lot of stuff. It has iconography of defining memories in her life, and is kind of abstract in how it links them all together. It symbolises her identity as a trans woman, her mental illness and recovery, her heritage on both sides of her family, and everything she loves about the world. She got it for her 25th birthday. 

She can come off as a polite, shy, soft-spoken (albeit friendly!) person upon first impression, but she goes absolutely beastmode at the club, or when pursuing someone romantically/sexually. She loves dancing and drinking and hooking up with attractive strangers. She really enjoys sex in general - luckily, her transition surgeries (she's had bottom surgery and breast implants, and facial feminisation which is unrelated) didn't fuck up the sensation in those parts of her body or her libido at all. She's always had a high sex drive, but high standards as well. Back to music: her favourite type is industrial metal. She also lovees going to concerts and music festivals.

Since Roxie exists partly for Charlize to self-ship with, here's an embarrassing interlude about her sex life. Roxie is a kinky vers switch, and her biggest kinks are almost everything under the BDSM umbrella, and praise. She also likes dressing up for roleplay, which isn't exactly a turn-on, just something she finds super fun and cute. If you call her a good kitty she will probably sublimate on the spot. She'll try most things if her partner is into them, though, but she likes receiving pleasure just a little bit more than giving it because her body is pretty sensitive. Her nipples are pierced, also. Depending on who she's fucking and whether she's tattooed them or not, she can either be good or the greatest of all time. This is the one kind of mind reading manipulation she never regrets. Because she's almost too eager to tattoo and pierce people, there's a joke about her being a sadist (which is true, but unrelated to her job). 

She's never been particularly good at "academic" subjects, and didn't go to university because she hated school. One of the reasons why is that she's autistic and has inattentive type ADHD. Both of these weren't diagnosed until she was in her early twenties. An autistic thing she does that's quite cute is that she tends to sort and choose food by colour. Her favourite type of food to eat is pink food (peaches, coloured sweets, shrimp), and her second favourite type is red food (strawberries, red velvet cake, rare steak). She will get very excited about trying new types of pink and red food. She speaks quite slowly to gather her thoughts properly, but when she forgets to do that, she can sometimes be too fast. Her voice is feminine and quite smooth and pleasant to listen to.

Her parents are super nice and were supportive of her transition and career pursuits. She doesn't live with them anymore but visits them every week. She was an only child who was doted on, but she wasn't lonely because she has lots of cousins who she's close to. She's fluent in English, Polish, and Japanese.
