🜲 Lurch

a lugubrious and strange self-proclaimed surgeon who seems to have a disturbing permanent presence throughout the Jomyu Hospital, even after he was kicked out of there. Some say it was because of his strange "hobbies"... well. that's what he says.
lurch is fixated on preserving rare and exotic specimens, especially inanimate (lifeless) ware-jomyus, while also dabbling in taxidermy... to others this may seem rather morbid, but to him it is perfectly normal and he cannot seem to understand why people usually push him away.

seems quite disinterested and bored by everything that surrounds him (has a HARD time showing expressions in general) although that doesn't mean he is... sometimes he finds himself easily fascinated with many things, but he just CANNOT show it.

he seems quite weird and intimidating at most, yet he is generally not a threat to anyone... but that depends very much on the individual case. Lurch does not react to mockery and always ignores any kind of unnecessary confrontation, but he is also very emotionally unstable and loses control relatively easily when "delicate" topics are brought up to him (most of which are related with his personal life).

funfacts:

• has a lover & a daughter (a jomyu made by him) :) he is still in the process of teaching his daughter to speak... he is genuinely proud of her regardless everything
• he has oculomotor paralysis in his left eye (giving decreased force in the rotation of the eyeball so it doesn't move at all unlike the other). He usually covers that eye out of embarrassment with his hair.
• he has elevatophobia. He's going to take the stairs no matter how tired he is at the moment.
  he's also kind of terrified (more like, VERY grossed out) of germs/dirt, reason why he has his gloves on all the time.
• he's not comfortable with being called lazlo. he usually goes by lurch, and the name it's cause he likes the addams family. and his favourite character is... well... Lurch
• he hates sleeping even though at the same time he gets tired too quickly. most of his stress is due to his lack of sleep
• doesn't trust people easily... actually tries to avoid anyone at all
