MINT
Overview
Mint is a cyborg with a passion for many things, most of all dumb memes, seafood and energy drinks. Finishing university young with two degrees after building his own cybernetic body, Mint has done quite a lot more than most of his peer in a whole lifetime. From founding a research organisation, to joining and managing a world-famous band, as well as jumpstarting his own incredibly successful musical solo career - there are many more facets to Mint than apparent at first glance, above all his original parentage.
Though Mint immediately comes off to most as very humorous and facetious, leading them to not take him seriously in general, he is actually an incredibly responsible and serious person at heart and often ends up becoming the head of the group one way or another. He still loves being silly, partying and playing pranks on others however, and although his status as a cyborg is one of his proudest accomplishments, most wouldn't even consider him not being organic at first glance.

On first impression, Mint is a very jokey and fun person that loves to play pranks and troll people. Most people would think that he doesn't take anything seriously, though this couldn't be farther from the truth - Mint does most things with an inherent sort of passion, and his stubbornness makes it impossible for him to drop something before he is finished with it. He is also a surprisingly organised and responsible person, which has led to him taking on leadership roles quite a lot, including the job of managing him and his friend's band. Beyond this he is an incredibly creative, as well as highly intelligent person, a fact that is only furthered by the computer system supporting his brain which enables him to look up most information in a matter of moments. Mint is extremely extroverted, loves having a good time and partying, but also values his alone-time whenever he is working on certain cybernetics projects or creating a new song.
It is almost impossible for him to really stay still, as he grows bored incredibly quickly. He will often wheelie or skateboard places - or if in his office space, roll around the place in his computer chair. He does not care what others think about him and will generally present himself however he desires, though due to these personality points he also tends to act a little bit too uncaring sometimes. His work ethic also leads to Mint overworking himself on projects quite a lot, and his state as a cyborg lends to quite a few fears of himself outliving the people he cares about. Due to this, Mint tends to hide a lot of his more serious worries and feelings behind a mask of humour.
Mint's entire body is made up of cybernetics, save for his brain and heart, which are still organic - but have been altered in order to be able work in unison with the rest of his robotic body. His enhanced heart enables his body to create its own energy, so Mint does not need to charge himself up unless he is in his more simple and obviously cybernetic replacement body, which he keeps for emergencies.
Mint posesses a slim face with a short chin and soft features. His lips are full and well-rounded, and his brows and nose are a little more angular than the rest of his face. The most unusual thing about his face would be his eyes, which consist of two black LED screens under his lids, which act as cameras that pick up his surroundings and display a wide array of differently shaped expressions - his basic cyber irises being the most used of them. His eyes are angular and somewhat diamond shaped, and the top lashes are relatively long. Most people won't be able to see his eyes when meeting him, as he usually keeps them hidden under his bangs. There is a small hatch behind his ear which he can use for most immediate access to the computer system running most of his body, either to plug into other systems or do various other things.
Mint's body is slim and slightly athletic, with most of the muscles being concentrated in his upper legs and hips, giving them a slightly thicker appearance. Thin, almost unnoticeable seams run over all parts of his body, hiding the various panels through which one can access the inside of his robotic limbs, head and torso. Despite this Mint's skin is still soft and squishy, and he can move in such a natural way that he is indistinguishable from other people. While he doesn't need to eat he can do so if he chooses to, and as his brain is still made of matter he does need sleep to survive. Mint also does not need to breathe, and most of his body functions are controlled by the conjoined effort of his technically enhanced brain and heart, as well as an elaborate operating system which he developed for himself. This OS also enables him to use his mind basically like a computer - surfing the internet, watching videos or googling things in his head if he desires to do so.
Mint's body is engineered in such a way that he is able to speak naturally, feel and taste and experience almost anything just like a human would. Despite this, his artificial body, especially his bones made from fortified metals, enable Mint to defend himself very effectively. In his default body he weight CONSIDERABLY more than a normal human - so much so that even very strong people will be entirely unable to pick him up. Despite this he can be quite fast if he needs to be, and posesses notable athletic capabilities due to the fact that his body isn't organic.
Mint's hair is a bluish purple, with the ends changing slightly into a brighter magenta. It reaches down to his natural waist and is quite straight yet fluffy, with many random strands sticking off to the sides. His bangs end shortly over the tip of his nose in a very straight cut, always covering his eyes in the process. While Mint usually wears his hair down and open, he does sometimes style it differently - like a ponytail or buns, and he will sometimes even pull back his bangs if he's doing something that requires his complete attention.
Mint's style can best be described as a vaporwave cybergoth/punk sort of wardrobe. He loves bright, vaporwave-esque colours and imagery, but will sometimes also opt for blacks. He will usually not wear any colours that are very rich or pastel. Style-wise he will opt for things such as high waisted shorts or pants, thigh high boots, crop tops in futuristic designs or sweaters with an interesting cut, among other things. He also quite likes the more cybergothic-esque pieces - such as industrial platform boots, fishnet pieces, bodysuits and tripp pants. Mint will usually incorporate a few glowing elements into his looks, whether that be headphones with LEDs, light up shoes or glowstick jewellery. He adores jellyfish, and their imagery are also quite prevalent in his looks. A lot of them incorporate a certain cyberpunk aesthetic, as he enjoys the sort of 'robotic' feel of that fashion.

Design notes
- The hair on the top of his head is ALWAYS somewhat messy/sticking out.
- His hair is very straight and fluffy and his bangs ALWAYS cover his eyes, unless he has put them up.
- His body is entirely water proof, which enables him to go swimming without a worry.
- He will be wearing some sort of pair of headphones most of the time, as he likes the feeling despite being able to listen to music in his mind without them.
- His nails can be removed and replaced in order to ease changing between styles/colours.

A long time before Mint had ever acquired his artificial body he was made out of flesh just like the rest of makind. Much like his sister, Mint had been a mermaid - born and raised in the deep sea of the pacific ocean - not all too far away from French Polynesia. Though his family was small and loved eachother, and though he had all he should need to be content, Mint had always felt like a fish out of water among them. It wasn't that he wanted to be a human or anything like that, especially as they were more than capable of switching their tail into legs whenever the need arose to go onto shore - no, it was always his body that Mint felt uncomfortable with, almost as if it just didn't... fit.
Even though he liked his life in the sea in general, computers were something that had always drawn him in from the second his mother took him to shore for the first time.
Mint had alway been exceptionally gifted and intelligent, so it wasn't much of a surprise to his family when he was accepted into an especially presitguos school on land. Focusing almost all of his energy on his studies Mint practically soared through the challenges presented to him, building himself quite the impressive academic rapport in the process. The fact that he skipped a few grades and posessed a demeanour considered weird by most of his peers, Mint was mostly left as an outcast during this time - resulting in him spending most of his life online. After graduating secondary school early, Mint immediately went on to university and joined with a double major in Anatomy/Physiology and Computer Engineering. During his time in university Mint barely ate or slept, instead opting to almost obsessively work on the project which he would, years later, present as his magnum opus and the conclusion of his final degrees: A completely artificial body fit to sustain the remainder of his biological life.
A body which finally felt like the one he was always meant to have.
Transferring his consciousness into the body had been an extremely tricky task, and as much as the scientific world was in an elated uproar Mint's family was quite shocked at the revelation of what he had done. Mint had expected it, and while he had steeled himself for all manner of reactions from his family he was surprised at how quickly they came around, leading the rest of the family in a trend that absolutely overjoyed him at the acceptance he hadn't expected to face. Together they safely laid his old body to rest in a ceremony of farewell at the hidden graveyard of his people, and thus Mint was ready to set out onto a new chapter - feeling as if his life had only just begun at that moment.

Mint had more or less been expected to become a big name in the field after this success, though neither him nor those around him expected just how widely received his discoveries would be. He became a very famous scientist and even founded his own research institute in order to further advance his passion. Despite his successes however, Mint was still as much of a social outcast as he was before, with peers and coworkers regarding his jokey and quirky attitude as weird. He began focusing solely on work, putting his everything into it and working himself all the way into burnout and a deep depression.
Unable to handle the intense pressure of standing in the entire world's spotlight coupled with his workaholic attitude, Mint finally withdrew from his job, but still maintained ownership of the private research institute, as he didn't trust anybody else with his work. He instead opted to take a more passive role, dropped out of public view and eventuall even stopped contact with his family, as he realised that he'd eventually have to watch them age and die in front of him while his artificial body would never do the same.

Mint spent around 100 years like this, a total shut-in that barely left his apartment, if at all. His entire life was kept to the internet - hacking, making and putting out music, and just being a neet in general. His music unexpectedly grew an intense following, and although he'd been asked to perform publicly a few times, he never accepted any of the offers. It was only when he discovered someone leaving constant comments on his music that his interest in another person was piqued again, and upon looking into them he stumbled on the profile of Yuroki Arai, a young artist using the site to upload videos of his band. Although their music was still pretty unrefined, Mint immediately took a deep liking to it, and after messaging Yuro the two began developing a deep online friendship that would span over years.
Eventually Yuro graduated university, and after a few years of working as a licensed Psychologist, he finally messaged Mint to ask whether he wants to start a band together. He didn't agree immediately, instead opted to drop off the face of the earth for a while before finally realising that he didn't want to hold himself back anymore. He packed his things and took the next flight to the UK - marking the start of their band.

Skills & abilities
Gunmanship
Mint is incredibly skilled at shooting, though with his artificial body this isn't exactly all too hard. He will either opt for a pair of handguns, or if possible a big machine gun - somethimes both.
Hand-to-hand combat
Due to his artificial state, Mint is quite skilled at hand-to-hand combat. What he lacks in form or experience is balanced by the unusual properties of his cybernetic body.
Hacking
Having spent almost his entire life with and around computers, it comes to no surprise that Mint is very proficient with most things surrounding them. He is incredibly skilled at hacking, as well as other technology-related things.
Skateboarding
One of his favoured pastimes, Mint is quite good at skateboarding, as well as surfing. Although his friend Cyril has asked him to take part in competitions with him a few times, Mint wants to keep it strictly a hobby. A lot of his shoes feature small wheels as well.
Mint and his sister were very close, and while they were quick to annoy each other or get into squabbles now and again, they would always make up somehow and cared for each other deeply. They would call each other out if need be and drop anything if the other needed their help.
Cyril and Mint probably have the closest friendship due to their similar personalities. They both love playing (harmless) pranks on people, socialising and throwing parties. Cyril was the one who taught Mint how to skateboard, and the both of them will often be seen riding down a hill in a shopping cart after a long night of partying.
Yuro and Mint spend a lot of time together due to Mint acting as band manager, so the two of them will often have a quiet evening together mulling over new songs, events and other important topics while drinking and ordering seafood. Mint regards Yuro with more casual respect that most of the others, but will post awful behind the scenes photos of him on their instagram account nonetheless.
Mint shares a good friendship with Coppelia, as his extroverted and open demeanor helps draw her out of her timid shell. The two of them see each other a lot as she lives with him his mansion, and on fridays in the three of them will often share a quiet movie night in favour of the loud parties that she doesn't enjoy as much.
