Bellum is an ex-disease specialist who used to be in charge of diagnosing patients recovered from disasters, able to recognize certain ailments by testing their reactions to certain spores. However, the continuous triggering of their spores for lab-use led to their nervous system starting to fail, unable to control the spores like before and becoming vulnerable to sickness and even other fungi. Terrified of death, they began injecting themselves with serums and changing their diet to carcasses to force their body to start producing toxins that would kill off anything invading their immune system. This worked, but partially failed as it is very dangerous to approach or have contact with them without the risk of being poisoned by the spores or by their toxic skin. They currently live on their own with their undead hounds, Rigor and Mortis, whose decayed bodies aren’t affected by Bellum’s poison as most of the material is already dead.
