Ivalt, twin of Vroad, is trouble with a capital T. She is determined and driven to achieve everything she sets out to do - that is, until she finds something funnier. Friends describe her as "chaotic useful," since she will always help, but will she get you ice when you asked for water? Yes.
A fourth-year student at Aster Academy of Arcane Arts, Ivalt studies fire magic far away from her home planet with her twin brother Vroad. The two of them also partake in assorted extracurriculars, and count themselves among the "space squad" that arose from spaceship mechanics homework.
One of Ivalt's most prized possessions is a gift from her dear mentee at Aster, Cassandra. It's a furby which she then modded to serve more purposes than whatever just a furby does. It can tell the time, function as a phone, read text messages, and still make all of its inane noises. Peria V Maren is the terror of Aster and Ivalt loves this.
Ivalt's wardrobe is a function-over-fashion, but in fashion's defense, sometimes it doesn't make it out alive. She is constantly running, jumping, and getting into all sorts of insane pranks: all of her outfits need to hold up to that life. She does love skirts and dresses, especially ones that fluff out when she spins. Her fashion sense would be most similar to the skater styles on Earth.

Youth
Ivalt grew up with her twin brother Vroad in the busling city of Leyden. The two of them had a nice and chill childhood and moved out on their own into a simple apartment when they could.
While Ivalt did not specifically share her brother's dedication to transportation mechanics and how stuff worked was something she rather enjoyed. When Vroad came to her with the proposition of upgrading their work from bikes to spaceships Ivalt jumped at the option to learn the new mechanics.
Ivalt and Vroad managed to get the jobs together trasporting goods and mapping out areas around their planet along with a pilot, Damir Loe. Nothing was out of the ordinary on that fateful trip, sure they were working on mapping a little further out but nothing would have prepared them for being nabed by a space siren, Elouise, and whisked away out of their solar system.
Scholarly Activities
Ivalt and Vroad are forcefully but willingly enrolled in magic school by Elouise. The two had no previous inkling to how magic even worked back home but Ivalt was thrilled by the idea of learning it!
Ivalt easily befriended many people in her year and became well known for her chatty behavior. She was not as studious as her brother but was lucky enough to be able to pick up magic a little better. When she learned she had the opportunity to learn fire magic she became enthralled. Fire is a scary thing to glowans but the fire of her soul told her to jump on in and go for it. While fire magic is maybe not so practical for where she still aims to work after graduation she is able to have many opportunities working with and around spaceships via internship programs that the school supports.
Kickin' It With Emperor Talin
After graduation Ivalt and Vroad return to their home planet and dedicate themselves to the progression of the reach of their planet's space travel. They understand that it's improper to thrust all of their knowledge on their home planet when they don't have the means to fully work with the rest of the galaxy but they try to push everyone in the right direction even if just a little.
Vroad and Ivalt specifically end up working with Emperor Talin. They get along swimmingly with him, he is adventurous and excited to go and learn things about places and the twins are too. They never tell him that they can do magic he just discovers it when Ivalt accidentally does some magic that he spots. They are forced to spill the tea but it goes really well and they are finally able to go back to Fracture City along with other glowans and show them all the cool wonders that the galaxy has to offer.
Vroad
[ Twin ] Ivalt's brilliant twin brother! She thinks he is one of the smartest people she knows (though its really just because he takes time to think at all lol) Vroad is the one person Ivalt will never get sick of hanging out with, they've come this far together and there is so many more places to go together!
Cassandra
[ Mentee ] 4th year students all get assigned 1st year mentees and Cassandra was her's. Their relationship is really upbeat and centered around going places and doing things. There are also times that are more focused on talking through problems though since for Cassandra having someone who also fundamentally understands the kind of fear of fire but still pushes forward and learns about it is so special.
Mallow
[ Mentee ] 4th year students all get assigned 1st year mentees and Mallow was Vroad's! Ivalt and Vroad quickly decided that they were going to group mentor and it just works so well. Ivalt is so excited to run around Fracture City with someone new who has lived there and has opinions on which space pizza places are the best. Also bonus that he helps her get up to mischif :P
