ABOUT

Lyris was born to two of Altira's greatest warriors who had her life planned out well before she was born. She was promised to the monarch of Altira, Tychon, and so she was raised as a princess. Many believed that she was destined for greatness. Her childhood was spent sitting through hours of special tutelage and intense physical training, often to the point of collapse. She was isolated from the rest of the world until she came of age when she was finally trusted to make her own decisions. It only caused her to become more bitter towards the role forced upon her. After the death - or murder - of her first and only child, she fled Altira to join the war beyond their borders, turning on her nation and becoming the notorious betrayer queen.

PERSONALITY

To Altirans, Lyris is a good example of a warrior though she's temperamental even for their standards. She's focused, driven, stoic, and furious on the battlefield. Lyris is most well-known for her extreme temper that's always on the edge of exploding into a fit of wild rage. She's bitter and never has anything pleasant to say to anyone. Her expression is a scowl more often than not and she's always doing something, never sitting still for long. She is capable of feeling calm, usually when she's flying high in the sky or focusing on some task. Beyond her prickly, snarky attitude, Lyris can actually be quite caring to those under her command. Despite how she appears, she doesn't take everything too seriously and has a scathing sense of humour that elicits anger in others more than laughter. She's a capable leader and her firey passion is more than enough to inspire those who listen to her.
