// Haru & Taiyo
Haru grew up in abandoned forest shrines surrounded by spirits. For most his adolescent life, these spirits intimidated him. He lived in fear until he met Taiyo at the age of 11, a small dog-like spirit. Taiyo, now his best friend and large companion, was once a tiny spirit pup full of mischief. He lacked a fully solid form when younger, as most spirits don't develop one unless bonded with a human. Taiyo slowly taught Haru that these spirits meant no harm, for the most part. Every spirit sought out for something, relief, companionship, freedom, etc. Haru dedicated his life after this to caring for these spirits, delivering their messages, healing them, setting them free, or looking for companions for them to bond with.

// Combat.
Bond Summoning - Main ability
Haru's main ability in combat is bond summoning. Bond summoning allows Haru to use his spirits in combat. This ability can range from full sized summons, such as bears, wolves, dragons, and more, or partial summons which allows Haru to use body parts from his summons, such as claws, wings, tails, etc.
Talisman Trap - Skill
Haru can use his Talisman's in combat to trap and subdue rogue spirits that are too dangerous to handle. Haru will then transfer the spirits to his jar which doubles as an extended dimension, giving a home to each and every spirit captured.
Teleport-Dash - Skill
Haru has a short range teleport-dash ability he can use. This dash can be used for repositioning in tricky situations, helping him recover after a tough blow, seeking cover behind objects or spirits, and even escaping if needed.
Escrima Sticks - Weapon
Haru uses Escrima-Kali sticks as his main weapon, hoping to minimize the amount of damage he inflicts on rogue spirits and enemies. His main objective in combat is to subdue, capture, and escape, opposed to injuring and killing.

// Personality.
Haru has a quiet, caring personality. He loves to travel with Taiyo, seeking out spirits that might need their help. Aside from his quieter, curious side, Haru is also very laid back and enjoys slower days. He loves lounging around in comfortable clothes, napping all day or tending to his spirits. Haru has seen little to no people his entire life, as the spirits have taken him in and raised him in the forest up until this point.
Taiyo is both similar and also polar opposite of Haru. He loves to mock Haru and shove him around playfully, always teasing him. But like Haru, he loves the slower days where he gets to lounge around and sleep all day in their shrine. Taiyo is very protective of Haru, having stayed by his side from the moment Haru stumbled upon him when he was 3 years old.

Childhood.
Haru was born in a small village with his parents, who were both poor and struggling to get by. As a result of their struggles, they often took their frustration and anger out on Haru, who never enjoyed being home, constantly leaving his house to build forts in the woods and finding new spots to spend his free time alone. As a young child with no friends or companions, Haru never learned people skills or really talked much, as when at home, he made as little noise as possible. He slowly started spending more and more time out in the woods, creating a home away from home.
At the age of 8, his parents started to rapidly decline, both following a path of alcohol and neglect, often ignoring Haru's presence when home. One night in the fall, Haru once again left his home to go spend his evening in the woods in his messy, yet warm fort. On his way there, Haru could feel a difference in the forest. There has always been stories and tales of the forests surrounding Haru's village, tellings of vengeful spirits with dark intentions.
Spirits and Items.
Haru has his bag on him at all times which includes items such as his sketchbook, pencils, snacks, potions, herbs, cool rocks, extra talisman's, and various other trinkets. Attached to his bag is his spirit jar. This spirit jar serves as an extended dimension, one Haru can enter after sending his spirits into it. This dimension is ever growing, constantly arranging to fit new spirits Haru finds and saves. Any spirit Haru deems healthy and calm enough to leave, may leave, but if they choose to stay, they have a forever home with Haru and his friends.
// Trivia.
- Haru is not good at interacting with people as the spirits have raised him his entire life.
- Haru has an entire notebook full of sketches and notes on every animal and spirit he's ever come across.
