The Vehement
Since her reawakening after the battle against Xenos ended in the party's demise once more, Lini had shifted her focus towards bettering herself... but mostly on the power side of things. She blames what happened to the world and her friends on her own weakness as Ben, so for a few months after a few weeks of catching up, she, civilly & with plenty of notice this time, left the castle grounds once more. By her side this time however, was the other lantern child Sol. Much more understanding of her situation compared to Roarke, they wished to join her in her endeavors so they could help more people together!
The two worked as freelance "exterminators" for a while, getting rid of nasty pirates and monsters terrorizing the common citizen at anyone's request. Doing this for a while swiftly helped them meet two more individuals who wished to assist in their cause, which lead to the four forming a formal paladin order together. They kinda just kept up with that for a long while ... a few years in they found a little hollow girl who had been kidnapped by a group of pirates they came to defeat, but since she apparently didn't have any home to come back to they just took her in and raised her to the best of their ability...
One day, inconveniently on one of her “off days” in some town the group stopped in for some drinks, a commotion began to erupt outside. Rushing out to help, Lini and her order as usual worked as a team to ensure that the town could return to safety as soon as possible. But when that familiar sword & friend from long past caught her eye, she knew that things were about to change for her once again…

Reunited for the third time with a party so familiar yet so distant, the heroes begin their journey to defeat the evil Xenos and Cognia once again. This group felt to be the most dysfunctional by far, though Lini didn't really help with this... Everyone was very hostile and negative to one another, so nobody ever really got along with one another.
The new Indigo was the worst, yet the most positive about the situation they all were in. He was so desperate to be closer to Lini, perhaps due to them having similar royal backgrounds, or maybe just because she was the most knowledgeable about the path they were being lead. Lini still had a severe sore spot over Ben's Indigo's sacrifice, so she was left super uncomfortable by this. Lead her to be much more distant from everyone than she intended to be...
The whole group being so difficult drove her crazy! Galeo being this snappy unstable beast, Hiro being so whiny and pathetic and not wanting to be the Hero in the first place, and Indigo being like that just made every day such a struggle. This got so bad to the point to where she basically threatened to kill one of them during an argument at a bar towards the end of their journey. None of them get it like she does! They don't understand the stakes at all! They can't even fathom what this means to her-....
In the end all of the struggle was in vain, as they died along Xenos in their final battle, encased in ice as the world was blanketed in an everlasting blizzard...
Do none of her efforts matter? Will she die over and over no matter how hard she tries to make things right? Is she doomed to bear this burden in an endless loop for all eternity? What's the point? She didn't ask for this!
I'm not standing for this anymore. I can't do this anymore. I won't.
