Nylaathria "Nyria" Mistrivven

Nyria is a head-strong, temperamental woman, more likely to lead than to follow. She puts great pride into her personal strength, and so puts great effort into behaving in a way that conforms with her ideas of being as such. As a result, she can often be known for her temper, as she would sooner allow herself to be provoked into a verbal or even physical reaction, feeling such behavior to be a sign of strength, versus practicing restraint. When it comes to trust she's very open to giving people a chance, as in her mind she's got strength enough to retaliate if it turns out trust was not deserved. A mindset that means that in reality the confidence she has in the natire of others is relatively quite low, but she has the patience to at least keep that to herself. Usually. 

As a vampire:

The Marks were and continued to be an immensely powerful vampire coven, but their beliefs, ancient and unwavering, left concerns. Between their two most suitable heirs, well, there was actually only one. And with that one was such discomfort with the idea of pairing him off. He wasn't terrible, but he wasn't perfect, failing to fully conform to the Mark's standards of showing strength and dominance. Somehow, in between their embarrassment and also trying to burry such humiliating short comings, the idea of pairing off Dante with a young woman of the Mistrivven coven, Nyria, was allowed to pass. 

The Mistrivvens were far beneath the Marks, and so the union was a fresh embarrassment, but at the same time it at least meant avoiding covens that could shame them further by deciding they could do better for their daughters than by agreeing to a union with Dante. After a rough start it seemed to be a success, and Nyria even bore Dante twins.

There was only one problem. 

Nyria was strong willed and Dante liked that about her... and the Mark's old school beliefs had no room for their relationship.

Personality:

-Hot headed and stubborn , known for possessing a temper

-Very nurturing

-As she's stubborn, she will hold a grudge

-Comes off as quite serious, but when she's comfortable she can be rather teasing with loved ones

-Very much of an act first, ask questions later kind of person

-Very protective. She tries to be mindful to not smother anyone but, well, mama bear and all that

-Tends to focus on first impressions, as a result, some see her temperamental side first, and others may witness her gentler, protective nature, and she is often guilty of holding to her initial impression of someone

Values:

-Perhaps a given, but she places a huge value on being able to shelter those who need it

-Strength and power, especially personal

Other Details:

-Strong Pain Tolerance

-Her kids are all animal lovers of varying types, which led her to discover a personal fondness of foxes 

-Has somewhat of a taste for wine

-Strong mental willpower, for better or for worse

-Regarding powers/magic, she doesn't see anything as inherently evil, believes what matters is the intent behind it

-Loves dark blue colors

-Jewelry and dresses are the way to her heart (material wise)

-Complete lightweight (fortunately not a problem as a Vampire)

-Learning to ride horses from one of her sons

Relationships:

As a Vampire:

Dante: Her husband, first they clashed, but once they both ran out off the energy to stay stubborn, they began to bond. Nyria would began to delight in making him laugh, watching the life spark into his eyes, when he was so cold before. They are not without their struggles, of course. Both so stubborn, and neither skilled at expressing negative emotions without resorting to anger, they are not immune to arguments. But they endure, they recover. And while sometimes they may be too similar, by the end of the day they know one another intimately. After all, they certainly can never claim to not understand each other.

Her Kids: A vampire with a strong nurturing spirit later turned demon, Nyria has numerous kids, many adopted. Though few demons understand it, she has created a powerful haven for them and herself, a place where they can grow. And while she does not at all consider them an army, they are her kids, after all, enemies most certainly do. And fear her realm and reach for it.

Vitis: At first, Nyria greatly struggled in demon society. Even the demon which turned her was absent, with reasons and excuses as to why her hands were tied to aide further. Nyria had to make it on her own... or perish. As it stood, perishing was far easier, and far more likely. At least until she was rescued by a lust demon, Vitis. Though Nyria anticipated another trap, expecting another situation where she was set up to fail and fall, Vitis merely sheltered her. There wasn't even a price to the safety she was given, though Nyria soon desired to repay her in any way she could. Because with Vitis, that was how it was, every demon either under her care or employment was truly cared for, and only expected to give what they were willing. Unsurprisingly, Nyria came to really value V as a friend for this, and even saved her life down the line. Much of what Nyria has now she credits to V having been there for her, and she would gladly do the same.
