The Sister

Terrified that we will take the powers that they had hoarded for themselves for so long. Mortified that we will kill them and rule for ourselves. And you know what, Eirikr? They should be."

Dagny is Eric's twin sister, at least in their first lives. Of the two siblings, Dagny was the instigator. Dagny was the one constantly clamoring for power, and wished to become stronger than the gods. It was her idea to hunt down Ilióloustos in the first place. She died in the ensuing hunt. Unable to handle her death, Eric begged Ilióloustos to revive her. While he could not revive her, the Summer Buck could bind all three of their souls together. He made a deal that he would lend his power, and the two siblings would be reborn as themselves, keeping their memories as they did.

Dagny did not content herself with only Ilióloustos. In all her lifetimes since, she has dedicated herself to studying, understanding, and hunting the divine and supernatural. She formed the Association for a New Day in this pursuit. The Association billed itself as being a charitable organization, dedicated to helping humanity grow stronger. To some extent, this was true. But for the most part, it was only a front for Dagny to find more power.
