rhayader (the snow goose)

a man who can also transform into a snow goose.

arm became paralyzed due to his multiple sclerosis, decided his hospital bill was gonna be too high and chopped the arm off himself. he cant fly in his goose form either- only has one wing. became severely depressed and hid away in his lighthouse, pretty much just waiting until the day he died. ended up a heavy drinker and would often make cryptic paintings on the walls of his lighthouse when he was drunk. when passed out in his lighthouse one day, august unexpectedly finds him and basically kidnaps him and takes him home. 

goose transformations can happen at will and during cycles that have something to do with tides, similar to wolves. about once every month he experiences an involuntary transformation.
