In an attempt to not burden others with her own presumed weakness, for majority of Super she lives off on her own somewhere unknown up until the GB/FT arc.

She's matured and grown stronger with age and with her experience of avoiding Black for nearly a year, but she's gone a bit backwards in terms of her confidence. She caries a very serious air to her, but is very kind even to those she doesn't know, of course eager to help out anyone who's managed to survive Black's initial attack, but being alone did not help her thoughts of inferiority, and as such, she tends to put others before herself to a concerning degree. She sees most people as more important than her and is not afraid to risk her life without a second thought for others, especially the ones she's bonded with over the years.

It takes a very long back and forth talk and a bit of a breakdown before she snaps out of said mindset. From that point onward, she is confident in her own ability and loses her more dreadfully serious tone in favor of a more upbeat one- managing to get out a sarcastic joke in even the worst of situations. She is far less easily irritated than her younger self, but is still prone to being flustered in certain situations.

Post-GB/FT arc, she lives in the past timeline when the future is erased, somewhere between West & Central city.

Her backstory is similar to her Z's backstory- except she found herself on Earth a few more years in the future and lived on her own. She comes to the Time Patrol when out of curiosity, she sneaks on a patrollers ship who was on a mission in her time.

Personality wise, she's inbetween her Super and Z counterparts. She's not afraid to be genuinely mean if someone gets on her nerves, but at the same time tries her best to understand others and somewhat get along with them if they do the same. She's playfully mean and sarcastic to those she considers friends and is extremely loyal to them.

For most of her time in the Patrol, her fears of being weak manifested as an inferiority complex and she was quite rude to others without any provocation, trying her best to act like what one would consider a "real Saiyan". She was only respectful to some and very formal with them (ex. only addressing Vegeta as the King).

Later on, she loosens up and doesn't try to pretend to be anything she's not. Again, she won't hesitate to be rude to those who deserve it, but overall she's much more friendly and doesn't put down or insult others for any reason. She's much more casual, only slipping into formalities when she has to.

Takes place in a vaguely SDBH-verse AU that's basically completely different because of some headcanons. Comes from some vague alternate timeline, plucked by Chronoa to fight in the Time Patrol. She's lost track of how long she's been working.

She is the most rude and bitter of any of her counterparts. She's mean for no reason and likes to mess with people for her own enjoyment. She does have genuine feelings and remnants of the soft side from her other verses somewhere in there, but that's buried very, very deep under her mean outer shell.

She tries her best not to cause excessive damage on missions. She's only intentionally nasty to other members of the patrol, and is simply blunt to anyone outside of it (ex. innocent bystanders why may be caught up in missions.)

design notes

• her tail is usually wrapped around her waist - if i dont specify what i'd like in an image (i likely just forgot) please default to that!
• her markings are not optional! please refer to her 'body ref' image if you need a guide on them.
• the long 'spike' at the bottom of her eye also isn't optional - it's just a really long lash but it's a part of her design
• her tail is fluffier and longer (in z, as it's torn in half in super) than a normal saiyan's tail.
• her chest is like a flat, "masculine" chest, you can draw her with a bit of natural bump but she doesn't have like... boobs... so please don't draw her with those lol
• her pupils get bigger/smaller + her ears move with her emotions, so feel free to get really expressive with that!
• her claws are 'retractable' in the sense that they can grow sharper or be dull depending on mood and also emotion like stated above! they're usually somewhat sharp.
• her face is more feminine when she's younger.
• as she gets older her face looks more neutral with a slight masculine touch; but at that point you can draw her face feminine, masculine, or androgynous, it doesn't really matter!

general notes

• daikon is her given name, what she was named when she was born. in yaseilan culture, it's not uncommon for people to change from their given name, even multiple times if they really feel like it. a name change is both a normal occurance and a big deal- the first change is always something to be celebrated, even if in a minor way. kaimeya was her first chosen name, and she later changed to simply kai, picking it up from other people's nickname for her.
• she's an excellent hunter. food that she didn't steal on yaseila she hunted for herself. she's very good at tracking things down and is capable of taking down even the largest of beasts. her preferred hunting weapon is a spear, but she's also experienced with bows.
• she's somewhat afraid, or at the very least annoyed by dogs. she finds them far too excitable and slobbery.
• in all verses, she doesn't unwrap her tail except for around people she really trusts. around closer friends, it will hang a little looser around her waist, but it never comes out except for those she's really, really, really, really close with.
• she doesn't really like sweets and can't handle them in abundance without getting a little sick. she loves salty foods. her favorite earth food is octopus.
• she is able to vaguely communicate with animals, a trait that comes from being a certain type of yaseilan.
• she is very fond of big cats.
• her red hair isn't a result of dye- every yaseilan has an undercoat and an overcoat- the overcoat is pure black, like a normal saiyans, but the undercoat is the color that lies underneath it, only visible under intense direct light or if the overcoat is stripped away. in that sense, her tips and the back of her hair only have their overcoat stripped, and the coat doesn't grow back for years (and never fully) meaning she doesn't really have to worry about keeping the color.
