Architeuthis - nicknamed Archie - is a SeaWing/NightWing hybrid, 20 years old (about 30 in human years). He is mostly dark blue, with soft-edged patches of lighter blue and bright teal bioluminescence. The starry sections of his wings are mottled with purple and black, and his starry scales are mixed with the longer shapes of SeaWing-pattern minnows. His eyes are bright green, and his spines and horns are white. He lives apart from both the NightWing and SeaWing kingdoms, having his own solitary existence in an underwater cave system carved out by lava during the Scorching. As he was hatched with SeaWings, he had partial exposure to moonlight while underwater, and has very weak future sight that he is unaware of; it mostly applies to knowing when someone is entering the cave to meet him, or when it's going to storm, or other trivial things that he believes are just good instincts. Deepsea is his adopted daughter.
