As the greenest knight in the royal guard, Helio has to work twice as hard to prove himself; most don't think a country bumpkin who got lucky is deserving of his position. His "fortune" started during the Knight Initiatiation Royale, when a dangerous mage invaded and cast a spell to stun all who could oppose him.. or so the mage thought. Being neither a knight or initiate because he overslept tryouts, Helio was left unaffected in the stands. He leapt to the attending princess' aid and forced their would-be assassin to flee, earning him the championship by default.
