When she was very little, she got separated from her family and was taken in by a priest to be raised in secret within a temple.  She has come to believe she, as a siren, is inherently evil and has decided to devote her life to spirituality to atone. If she is required to be in public, she probably wears some sort of veil(s) to hide her siren features. She specializes in assisting with funeral rites.
