itya Fogriver is a strange, lonely old man who has found himself in a dire situation. 10 years ago, he was a star researcher, bound for greatness in his professional field and his personal life. …Then one night, it all came crashing down.

Standing at 6'5", Vitya is frighteningly pale-skinned, skinny, and generally sharp in shape. Despite his age, he appears as a roughly 500 year old man. This is the effect of a curse placed on him by some unknown God or Trickster. His eyes, the left black and right yellow, sink into his head, beneath which sit dark circles. He has prominent cheekbones and long, drooping ears—an effect of his aged appearance. A few freckles dot his skin, the only ones of note being the four on his face. He has semi-wavy grey & white hair that reaches to his mid-back. He walks with the aid of a cane, his left leg having taken lasting damage at one time. Typically, he is seen wearing loose-fitting, casual clothing under an oversized coat.

- He has died In-Game a total of 3 times, and counting. The first was unavoidable, the others were simply mistakes.
- His associated tarot card is the Hanged Man (upright).
- He was previously married to one Julius Shaw for 20 years. Previously, as they divorced 10 years ago. Julius now is a crony of the campaign's Big Bad, Claudius.
- He knows 5 languages: Common, Undercommon, Draconic, Elvish, and Infernal.
- Originally, Vitya was intended to just be a young man who looked old. This changed once I remembered Khadar from World of Warcraft.

Ally (Nuisance)
Ryker is a fellow "martyr of Umida Mema," and part of Vitya's traveling party. The heir to the Deerstep fortune, Ryker has been living on the run for a year with a bird named Juno—who is not a bird at all, but a cursed man. Vitya finds Ryker to be egotistical and annoying, as well as a kind young man...when they want to be, at least.
Ally (Liability)
Wan is a fellow "martyr of Umida Mema," and part of Vitya's traveling party. The daughter of an important religious family, Wan was cast out from her village after bringing about its destruction. Vitya finds Wan to be a naïve people pleaser, and yet, inexplicably feels some sort of good will towards her. He appreciates her kindness.
Ally (Reminder)
Ericht is a fellow "martyr of Umida Mema," and part of Vitya's traveling party. One of the only two followers of the God Garfield, Ericht is searching for his missing mother, Athena...whom Vitya met over 10 years ago. Vitya thinks neutrally of Ericht, though he may be too quiet for his own good, at least for now.

Butch is a fellow "martyr of Umida Mema," and part of Vitya's traveling party. Seemingly a random Hellhound, Butch can't go anywhere without hearing that it looks exactly like one "King Butch" of Kokrin. Vitya doesn't remember much about the King, but finds Butch to be fascinating...and a bit frightening.
