Profile

Champion of Piotr and Guardian of Aubergine.

When she was extremely young, her father deserted the ecclesiarchy of the Tundaeri Empire, seeking to escape from the corruption present in it. So, he bought a small plot of land, looking to earn himself a peaceful farming life amid nature. As he came to realize of the land's abundant fertility, he decided to export his crops, establishing a business and making a new name for himself. As the venture expanded, people came to his ranch, looking for work.
Incidentally, the property developed itself more and more, eventually becoming its own, small village, named after the family's surname, Aubergine. However, with its exponential growth in Tundaeri territory, he was accused of planning to establish his own nation, reclaiming land from the Empire. With this, Old Aubergine was assassinated, and his village raided by a small group of soldiers. However, the brave Brinnjäl took up arms, and managed to fend off the attacks, but she knew the soldiers would come back, with a real army this time.
And so, she was championed by Piotr, who observed her struggle and knew she needed help if there was to be any chance of survival... though it was less her effort and more her self which piqued his interest in the mortal. With the blessing of his powers, she managed to defend the village again and again, against more and more powerful armies, until Aubergine eventually managed to set itself as its own nation, despite it never being the intention.

As the champion of Piotr, she can generate salt crystals on the surface of her own body. These crystals, combined with the water from her sweat (bonding to the already present salt) and nearing towards melting point by her body heat, can turn into explosive projectiles to be launched by her scythe. However, this technique is highly dangerous, and can only be achieved when she has already exerted herself plenty, becoming a sort of last ditch effort. But for the most part, she mostly uses this ability to help with her own cooking.
