An AU-ish of Marley! The reason why all this stuff's in a separate profile is because this is actually the OG Marley that I kinda resonated with and made an offshoot of that later became my sona skjdhfajksdhfajksdhf. Was originally a CS character but has since been reworked to a one-off.

There's only two kinds of people in the world: those who have no idea who the Broadcaster is, and those who've already fallen madly in love.
A legendary popstar and a TV show host, there's pretty much nothing this sweetheart can't do. A charming, charismatic figure, the Broadcaster's (or Marley, if the two of you talk) name rings far and loud around town. Behind that lovely smile is a voice sweeter than honey, and behind those eyes is a mind of pure bliss. Nothing can stifle this lively spirit's unwavering optimism and radiant kindness.
It's no surprise why this pretty face is such a popular entertainer. After all, what's more refreshing than a cute little song and dance from someone who genuinely believes the world is a good place after a long day of God-knows-what-life-throws-at-you?
Writing some fanmail? Don't worry, your efforts aren't going to waste-- even though there's piles and piles of letters from people who've had their days brightened by a funny episode of a show already, the Broadcaster takes good time meticulously going through and replying to each and every note... that is if there's any time left over after another session of helping abandoned animals find forever homes or keeping the less fortunate away from sleeping on the streets.
You're probably too busy wondering how such a pure soul even exists to even realize that there's almost nothing you-- or anyone else-- actually know about the Broadcaster. (Care to notice that I didn't even give you a single pronoun to work with?)
There's a popular adage that goes a little something like "a friend to all is a friend to none", and it's left some people wondering who or what this all-loving superstar really holds dear.
The most I can tell you though is that if you think this bundle of sunshine's got some sort of disconnect with reality, then you're not wrong at all.
TRIVIA
- Flirts a little with the fans. Just a little!
- Has an accent. Most people find it pretty endearing. "Marley" sounds a little bit like "Molly" with the accent, so it's not an uncommon nickname.
- Will undeniably beat you in a staring contest.
- Sometimes nicknamed "Mari" by little kids who can't pronounce "Marley". Cute :3c
- Uses exclusively fruit-scented shampoo. EXCLUSIVELY.
- Is not hiding any secrets.
- Does a bit of modeling sometimes as a side gig.
- Probably finds you cute <3
DESIGN NOTES
- (not necessarily design related but good to know) Since there's nothing stated here in that aspect, you can just use whatever gender or pronouns for Marley you find convenient, I don't mind.
- Spotlights can move around! They turn off when the Broadcaster's asleep.
- Height varies quite a bit with the current shoes worn, but generally should be on the shorter side.
- Never cries. Never.
- Always smiling instead :)
- Hair can be in a ponytail or undone, either works
