Used to be a loner, that just minded his own Business, but took Nicky in as a child in favor of Althea when she had nowhere to go. Jasper didnt like her at the start and ignored her for the most part, but eventually grew very fond of her.  Their relationship is very sibling-like. Jas taught her how to hunt, fight and scavenge. He is very protective when it comes to her safety and only means her well, but because of this he unknowingly just isolated her more from the world around her, which made her very anxious and unable to trust most humans (fueled even more by bad experiences she had with them in the past).
