Chapter Zero: Prologue.

The Beginning, before the Beginning.

First letter of the whole chapter, cue all the rest. This code is kinda geared towards characters with a lot of info, so the more you write, the better! This section is meant as a tl;dr, a short summary, or simply a prologue, but you can change this to your liking. You can also add as many paragraphs as you want, or even more sections! The world is yours, if you want it to be.

Chapter One: I'm Haunted By This Past,.

The Beginning of the End.

While he's able to find refuge in the world outside of camp, it's up to the mercy of the clan and his family to figure out what exactly he needs. For a paradox is present with the peculiar Revenant's Symphony: if he speaks at all, it is mostly in half-complete phrases and riddles, just like his mother. This, coupled with his tendency to lose speech entirely when overcome with emotion or overwhelming stimuli, left many within his clan lost on how to respond to his questions or urgings — except one, on the first day of Leafbare’s storms…the one day when understanding his motions and demands accurately and completely changed the course of the tortoiseshell’s entire existence. At only four moons of age, he was fragmented into so many pieces that his eyes themselves appeared to have a cloud of nothing behind their formerly sparkling curiosity.

This complete loss of curiosity, loss of spiritual life, enraged Wraithvengeance — so much, that the mother of five took on her false namesake as a crusader’s title and brutally attacked the feline she believed had caused this: a healer. The healer of Revenant's clan, with everything — and everyone — she held dear. With her actions, brutally injuring the healer until they were close to death, his Wraith was gone — and it was his fault, he so believed. Everything he knew had been lost in barely a few hours, a few minutes, a few seconds. Nine seconds, to be precise. Memories of this moment were soon to flood within him, but all he knows now is the pure fear he felt.

Chapter Two: And I Saw This One Memory Again.

Again, it rushed through my mind.

Revenantkit was devastated, and in the darkness of his grief he did not even bother to attend his own apprentice ceremony barely a moon after these events. He was assigned to the tutelage of a mentor who was not particularly cruel or kind, but one who could instruct the shattered apprentice with a firm and guiding paw. Just as he had while he was still a kit, Revenant still startled easily with most loud or sudden noises, reverting to kit-like states when worked up or overstimulated. This reversion to memory was a major struggle for him during his training — many pieces of prey were left in sight yet not caught from the noises they made, and the tortoiseshell tom refused to fight, even with claws left sheathed.

Chapter Three: Earning My Name (& My Affections).
