jasper is a very chaotic individual. he’s aware of rules and expectations, but he finds doing whatever the hell he wants to be more fun. they don’t let much stop them, and they’re often a bit of a daredevil. he’s a lot more intelligent than one may expect from him, but he mostly uses his brain to cause mischief. jasper’s personality can be endearing to some and downright unlikeable to others- it really depends on who you are.

formerly a lab assistant in the labs dealing with ancient shifters, science is jasper’s biggest passion and one of the few things they’re willing to follow the rules regarding. at least, as much as he can, though he’s still got a little bit of a rebellious streak- which is what lost him his job, along with the fact that made himself seem older and more qualified than he really was in order to work there. however, that is how they met their boyfriend, evander, an ancient deep sea shifter who jasper quickly became fond of helping out. they’re around the same age and jasper was a big help in teaching van about modern society.

after being fired, jasper continues to break into the lab in order to see van. they’ve been caught and forcibly removed [and banned] from the premises twice now and there’s no telling how many more times that will happen. his best friend since childhood, valerian, is dragged along in most of his nonsense.
