shy artist guy interested in all of the world and fascinated with all the potential for art that they’ve never seen before on land! their parents have allowed them to stay on land to learn more, as long as they stay with someone trusted and get some teaching. this happens to mean they’re staying with dr. aster, a friend of their parents’ friends… so let’s just say their parents are a bit misguided in their trust. but foggy thinks they’re learning a lot! just don’t tell their mom about the minor burns they’ve accumulated a few of. despite their better judgement- if they have any at this point- they’re actually really fond of staying with aster and have begun to see him as something of a father figure, even calling him uncle sometimes, which is probably not great for them in terms of sheer safety but great for their mental health. he’s not actually that bad of a caretaker.

they’re a little naive and believe the best in all people as much as possible. they do very poorly with social cues and prefer to stay by themself when possible. often- they’ve been described as acting mature for their age for their quietness and rejection of the things that seem stupid to them about other kids their age. foggy really struggles with overstimulation with noises and is very picky with foods.
