Very sharp facial features, red eyes (no pupils/irises visible), dark skin, bright blonde hair, slim athletic body. Nails painted black with a bright green dot on each nail.
- Smooth, cool, welcoming tone, that can become very threatening if pushed. Speaks Ha'Mesh Atlantean, English, and Martian.
- Stable, calm, and caring individual. Wants the best for everyone if possible, insecurities are few, and tries his best to have a zen state of mind.
- Nyota Monroe/Star (best friend/co-owner of The Velvet Room), Weird Ro (frequent visitor/friend).
- Draak used to believe in the gods/deities of his home tribe like his adoptive father taught him, but after he found out who his real father was, he abandoned these beliefs. He currently leans towards no religion.
- Draak is a known pacifist, due to his father (adoptive) and mother (biological) both dying in tribal wars. He has strong beliefs in the matter, and avoids violent tactics at all costs. In the peaceful way that his (adoptive) mother handled things when they went wrong, he learned a passive attitude from her. However, he also believes that sometimes violence is necessary.
- Adventuring, scrapbooking, and Backgammon are some of the hobbies he used to engage in with his adoptive mother, Ellen Bomber. However, he has had less time and less interest in those things as he has a grown his reputation with Nyota in underground Miami. The Velvet Room consumes the majority of his attention.
- Capable of emotional telepathic contact, can read "surface thoughts", and can shapeshift to varying degrees but never into a completely different form such as another person oranimal or thing. He can however, morph long claws, fangs, daggers, swords, and other more to-the-body objects/weapons/features.
Draak was born to I'ara and Tizin Hi'Laal during a tribal war, in the tribe of Ha'Mesh; an underwater (distant Atlantean) village off the northern coast of Greenland in the Lincoln Sea. Eight months after his birth, I'ara was killed when the neighboring tribe of Goa'Din invaded Ha'Mesh. For two years, Tizin focused only on his bitter distaste for the Goa'Din tribe, and planned to train his young son in the ways of war. Hoping that the death of his mother would fuel his hatred like it did for him. During this time, Tizin met and married Ellen Bomber. Who became the mother that Draak remembers. At age 18, Draak was deemed a "man" by the priests of his tribe. He received tattoos of his design and choice on both of his arms. (This was done with brightly colored ink, which was considered beautiful for those with dark skin.) Shortly after, Tizin insisted that Draak join him in their war against the Goa'Din tribe. But Draak refused, saying that he didn't want to hurt or kill anyone. Even though his father had trained him in all the necessary ways of manslaughter. This upset Tizin, and it sparked many more arguments on the subject within the year till Draak's nineteenth birthday. Where shortly after joining the Justice League, Tizin died fighting in the battle between the Goa'Din tribe and the Ha'Mesh tribe, that had plagued them both for years. He soon learned that Tizin was not his biological father. He was the son of the Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz). This discovery changed a lot in his life. Draak stopped believing in the deities of his people, and neither prayed to nor worshiped them any longer. Finding out that he was part Martian, lead him to being mentored in his underlying abilities by his true father.
Now, Draak has become best friends with the son of Ro: Nyota Monroe, or "Star." Together they run an underground "invite only" nightclub called The Velvet Room, where they maintain the monopoly on drugs in Miami.
