Lathraeakit was birthed alongside his sister, Ivorykit. Their mother, Curlingbreeze, as a Balletclan warrior. However, their father was Frescoclan leader, Harrierstar. Curlingbreeze had kept her pregnancy a secret until her kits were born. This raised questions, as the clan demanded to know who the father was. Curlingbreeze was forced into confession, and the reveal caused outrage in Balletclan.

At the time, the two clans had been at war. Thus, due to Harrierstar being the father, Rimestar exiled Curlingbreeze along with her two kits. Desperate for a safe place for Lathraeakit and Ivorykit, Curlingbreeze traveled to Frescoclan to beg her mate to let her in. However, Harrierstar had a family of his own within the clan and knew that letting her in would ruin his image. Thus, the leader claimed she was a Balletclan spy attempting to trick them.

Curlingbreeze took her kits and ran but knew she couldn't run for long. She hid her kits in a hollow trunk near the Sonnetclan border before she was eventually tracked down and killed by Frescoclan warriors. Lathraeakit and Ivorykit witnessed this, filled with terror. Eventually, they were found by a Sonnetclan warrior, Everfrost. She had taken them in and cared for them until the pair became apprentices

As apprentices, Lathraeapaw and Ivorypaw had a nack for getting into places they shouldn't be. Especially trouble. Once a day, while exploring the territory, the two were caught crossing the Balletclan border. When discovered a few tail lengths away, they were questioned. Despite having no ill intention, the patrol attacked the two apprentices, wounding them both. Ivorypaw did not survive this incident.

Crushed by his sister's death, Lathraeapaw became resentful. He is often lashing out at his mentor Howlingstrike and his foster mother Everfrost. This anger continued until his early warriorhood, when Lathraeacatcher was in battle with a Frescoclan patrol. That is when he took his first life, realizing how much power someone actually had over each other's lives.

Lathraeacatcher suddenly changed, wearing a mask to hide his true feelings. Though feeling angry inside, he attempted to come off optimistic and charismatic. Often... too optimistic. Eventually, when Sonnetclan deputy, Lightspot, died. Lathraeacatcher was voted in by his clan to stand as deputy, despite Specklestar's objections due to not even being born in the clan.

Dispite being promoted, Specklestar didn't hesitate to remind Lathraeacatcher of his worth. Often degrading Lathraeacatcher for being lesser than Sonnetclan kit dung. Despite the antagonizing behavior of his leader, Lathraeacatcher remained quiet. However, after Specklestar reached one life, Lathraeacatcher began to sneak small amounts of lily of the valley into her prey.

The leader began to fall very ill, causing the healers to panick. Despite all their treatments, she became more sick until eventually she passed on. Leaving Lathraeacatcher to take his nine lives and become leader. After becoming leader, Lathraeastar kept his optimistic and unbothered mask on tight. Even while around Harrierstar, he pretended that he had never known him. It seemed that he had forgotten about the whole experience regardless.

After spending moons as leader, Lathraeastar made sure to keep his paws clean and out of trouble. Appearing almost as peaceful as Lullabyclan's leader ____star. However, unknown to the other clans, the heir of Balletclan's leader, Leopardtail, was found dead at the Frescoclan border. Due to previous history, Mellowstar accused them of killing their daughter, to which Harrierstar rejected the notion.

This caused border patrols to escalate between the two clans, bringing Frescoclan and Balletclan back to war. Harrierstar watched as his mate and son died during the battles, feeling defeated. This drove Harrierstar into retirement, begging for the war to stop. Eventually, it did so, but at the cost of Balletclan and Frescoclan lives.

In his final days, Lathraeastar visited the clan former leader. Claiming that he wanted to give his "condolences." With Harrierflight's last moments, Lathraeastar confessed his crimes and revealed his true nature. He claimed he would have done the same to Rimestar if he had not already been dead. However, punishing his father was already enough for him.
