a sweetheart, shy waterbreathing shifter who’s surprisingly good with people! maisie adores meeting new friends and is a very curious person, which has led her to explore the world on land. she needs her water helmet to do so, but it’s a small price to pay for everything the land has to offer, in her opinion. she is especially interested in the flora and fauna of the land and has taken to dedicating herself to researching it, though she can be rather absent-minded and clumsy and end up with all sorts of plants stuck in her clothes and hair.

maisie has three pet cats, as she learned about them and thought it was very cute that they sounded so close to her last name. then she met a cat and ever since has very much been a cat person. the cats’ names are amaryllis, larkspur, and magnolia.
