Even as a young grem, Gummi has always been obsessed with music. Discovering she had an innate, natural talent for numerous instruments, she was given the chance to enroll into a prestigious music academy. While in the academy, Gummi did extremely well in her studies, learning music theory and composition at such a rapid pace that she was eventually granted a special honor of composing a piece for a charity symphony. It was the cheering and applause following the symphony that Gummi realized that she wasn't destined for playing instruments in a setting like this, but rather, to revel in the delight and joy that her music could bring to others.

Almost immediately after graduating, Gummi turned down a great deal of symphony chair offers, which would have set her up for life had she taken them. She knew it wasn't the right path for her, and she decided to find what that path was. It took her a rather good bit of time of just experimenting, including joining a few local bands, until she inevitably tried her hand at mixing music at an event she attended where the DJ was too inebriated to perform. Being the only one there with any semblance of musical background, she only needed to get her feet wet before realizing that THIS was what she had been searching for all along.

Being a DJ is not an easy career, and getting the equipment is not cheap. Gummi ended up accepting a few offers from various symphonies and organizations that wanted her to perform some solo pieces, and she used the money from those to start setting herself up for mixing music. At first, her DJ work was rather clumsy, and was mostly resigned to the local roller rink or the occasional backyard party, which felt frustrating and made Gummi reconsider her choices, wondering if it really was the path she was supposed to go down.

Surfing through YouTube one night, Gummi happened to stumble across a playlist that was a lengthy but informative tutorial for a digital music program. It caught her eye, wondering if maybe she should take a shot at making her own music. Surely it couldn't hurt. Unfortunately, learning to make your own music digitally is even more difficult than learning to DJ, and were it not for Gummi's knwoledge of music theory and composition, she would have struggled with it a lot more than she already was. She lived a double life, performing in concert halls to pay the bills, and chugging energy drinks in front of the computer to hopefully add a solid schtick to her DJ career.

If there's anything to be said about Gummi, let it be said that she is nothing if not persistent. Months of continuous work on the program, all of her hard practice, finally led to Gummi finding her groove, and she began creating the most incredible musical numbers. A lot of what she worked on was nothing more than background melody or soft beats for pre-mixed music or live mixings, but it's the blend of heavy metal, techno, nightcore, and video game assets that carries it so well, and makes her set apart from the rest of the DJs in her area. As more people began to take note of her work, she began getting more bookings. Inevitably, her shows began blowing up on social media, especially since she began taking orders for custom music to suit whatever event she was working, and it began getting her sought after and booked by national organizations, sports events, and even celebrities. Through her own blood, sweat, and tears, Gummi had finally made it, and is nothing but happy to live out her life doing exactly what she loves.

Due to her high life career, Gummi was able to meet a grem named Love, a world-famous idol and singer. The two met at a party, where Gummi fairly tripped over herself in Love's presence, mostly because of how much of a fan she was, and how pretty Love looked that evening. The two hit it off immediately; running into other grems isn't very common in their circles, and they ended up falling for each other, quickly becoming a couple that fans all over the world are obsessed with. They travel together often, playing their own shows, with Gummi mixing music live, and Love singing the entire thing herself.
