byrd willowhale | they/them [he/him rarely] | nonbinary ace | shrimpshifter | 26, born april 17th

despite being a taller, more intimidating seeming shifter, byrd is more soft-spoken and shy than they appear. they are very affected by social anxiety and struggle to make friends, leaving them with very few shifters close to them who know them well [or really at all]. they are kindhearted and can be extremely passionate when there is something they care deeply about, but other than that and outside of social situations that plague them with anxiety, they’re rather calm- perhaps even described as apathetic.

byrd has albinism and often doesn’t go outside, mostly because he doesn’t like going to all the effort of putting on sunscreen and hats to protect himself from the sun. they are alright with wearing sunglasses though since they privately think they look cool. their fashion style has been pretty influenced by the need not to get sunburnt as well and they often wear clothes that cover a lot of their body.

their best friend is a shifter named seina [not yet designed], whom they adore with all their heart [platonically, of course]. the two have moved in together to care for their adopted daughter, trinette, an ancient shifter who died and was revived at a young age [seven years old, though she is now eight].
