Physical Description
Thin athletic figure, Caucasian skin, amber eyes, blonde curly/wavy hair, pointed features. Large horizontal scar across throat that he always keeps hidden. He's usually seen in jeans and a turtle neck shirt with cut off sleeves. Really likes band tees.
Mental + Emotional
Sometimes communicating his emotions to others is hard. He can come off as rude and moody, but he's actually very sweet and thoughtful. Even though life has been rough for him, he still looks to the future of everyone and himself with great hope. He's also a bit of a genius, and learns exceptionally quick. There's not many secrets you can keep from him; trained by Gotham's greatest detective, he usually finds out eventually.
Speech
Speaks English fluently. No accent. He has a stutter that gets worse when he's anxious, but it has always been with him.
Powers
No supernatural powers, he has trained extensively to become an excellent hand-to-hand and melee combatant. He is also quite intelligent and a natural problem-solver. He specializes in mechanics/engineering.
Relationships
Bruce Wayne- mentor, adoptive father; they have a close relationship. Bruce is like the father he never had but always wanted.
Christie Moore- ex-girlfriend. long term friend; he and Christie have always been close, he would be at a loss without her in his life.
History
Born to incapable parents, Mickey didn't stay with them long. Custody of the six year old was given his Aunt Helen and Uncle Darren. He would spend the better part of his childhood with them, but unfortunately, it still wouldn't be a happy one. Darren was a cruel person and blamed Mickey for a lot of things that couldn't be a child's fault; especially the wayward life of his father (Darren's brother). He was beyond abusive and neglectful, while Helen remained a silent bystander, not wishing Darren's wrath on herself and feeling incapable of protecting the boy. No one flourished in that environment. Although suffering a great deal of abuse in both his family and academic life, Mickey remained a kind person and tried his best to keep to himself. He made just one friend, Christie Moore, in his freshman year of high school. Neither of them would attend prom at any point, but would go on dating quietly as sophomores, trying to keep their lives private despite opposition from Christie's family. Mostly her father and older brother. Christie was his best friend still, even when dating didn't seem to work for them, and they'd stick together "always and always." They were each other's peace in a seemingly never-ending world of chaos.
