Rene is a restless bucket of energy with a propensity for making rash decisions and jumping into danger. He pushes back against Edra’s insistence on him being her successor by being a robust troublemaker and general pain in the ass for everybody on the station. Due to this his relationship with some of his siblings is strained, and the only one who will really tolerate him is Nola.

He is fascinated by Tamati from the moment he meets him, and jumps at the opportunity to leave Vexinil with him.
