Profile
Summary
Faerilees are small, fairy-like creatures born from dandelion wishes. When a dandelion puff is blown out and scattered, it has a chance of coming to life as one of these creatures. Because the wish is what gives a Faerilee its life, their appearance is generally based on the contents of said desire. They may not always stay with their original "creator," but will go through the world using their magic to fulfill wishes similar to the one that brought it to life.
✦ Body
Faerilee stand at around two feet tall and have bodies that are soft and rounded, and often pleasing to the touch. This is because their flesh is actually very porous, which gives them their padded look but also makes it so that they’re light enough to float through the air. They don’t fly in the sense that Gryfons do, but a strong breeze will carry them away, while they use additional appendages to steer themselves in the correct direction.
✦ Antennae
All Faerilees have a pair of antennae that they use to sense wishes. These sensors come in a variety of styles, but must have two distinct parts: an inner base and an outer membrane. The inner portion is the part that actually hones in on others’ desires and is the source of their magic; a Faerilee with a damaged or broken antenna would find it very difficult, if not impossible, to perform any wish-granting magic. This is why all antennae have an outer, protective layer that offers them protection. These membranes are made of a durable and highly-repellent material that can endure any situation the Faerilee might find themselves in as they tumble through the air. Some Faerilees are born with smaller outer membranes, or ones that expose the inner base. Those that do usually construct makeshift covers, giving them the safety they need to keep riding the wind.
✦ Limbs
Faerilee limbs are a lot like their bodies, though extra padded to prevent injury. Unlike Veela, most individuals do not use magic to move or pick up objects. Instead, they have a more hands-on approach, preferring to use their hands a lot. Because of this, they all have dexterous fingers, able to perform delicate tasks with a gentle touch. Their legs are also similarly padded though they lack toes, and are extra cushion-y, giving them a bounce in their step. They are able to use this springiness to launch themselves quite high into the air, as they try to catch a wayward breeze.
✦ Tail
Faerilee can have tails of any style, though puffy ones are very common, reminiscent of a dandelion!
Builds
✦ Cheeb
Cheeb Faerilees are born from the wishes of baby or very young Lythians, resulting in this a less-than-fully formed body type. They lack a body, consisting only of a head segment with limbs and other appendages attached to it. Their magic is often less powerful, and it is very easy for them to be carried away by a stray breeze!
Variants
✦ Faeritaur
Faeritaurs are formed from down-to-earth wishes, resulting in a variant that is earthbound and unable to fly. To make up for this, they have a centaur body type with powerful hindlegs that allow them to travel quickly across the lands. At a glance, they could be mistaken for a very small and compact Chuikha.
✦ Faerimaid
Land and air are not the only environments across the realms! Wishes made by underwater citizens or involving water may form a Faerimaid, the aquatic variant of Faerilees. They are unable to fly, sometimes struggle with walking, but are all very strong swimmers. Marine adaptations manifest all across their body, allowing them to fit right in. Although… can dandelions even grow underwater?

Baby Information
Baby Faerilees are colloquially known as "puffs," because of their large heads, which imitate the fluffy tops of dandelions. This mimicry is a result of the fact that they are born in midair! To prevent them from immediately plummeting, the unique head shape makes it, so they can float smoothly to the ground or be easily picked up by a gust of wind. Some puffs are born with additional spore-like structures — often on their tails — to further assist with this, and are generally very small and light.
✦ Baby Features
- Baby Faerilees are chibi-like, with a head that’s the same size or larger than their body.

Origin Story & Quest
Moishire
Every child has been told to pick a dandelion, close their eyes, and think about what they want. And while holding that wish in their mind, they should take a deep breath, then blow the dandelion spores in the direction of the breeze to make their dream come true. If the child is lucky, their wish comes true or… a Faerilee will appear!
Upon forming from a dandelion spore, a Faerilee often takes on aspects from their "creator"’s wish. These can be as subtle as colors and disposition, or as obvious as physical aspects and entire personality! As a puff, Faerilees are generally more subdued in these aspects, typically only gaining the more evident traces of their "creator"’s wish as they grow.
What kind of wish did your Faerilee come from? Do they have a love for a specific kind of toy? Have they taken on physical aspects of their wish? Or was their wish something more idealistic, showing in their personality? Please portray your Faerilee using their baby design or an adolescent design that’s not quite their adult form yet.
